"Sadly this place has gone down hill. I have been coming here for 2 years and it's steadily going down hill. The portions have gotten smaller and the little things have been taken out. For example. I ordered the blueberry pierogies and they used to come with melted butter. They dont any more, so I asked the waiter for some melted butter. I got melted grill shavings. I sadly have decided this will be my last breakfast here. Sadly it will be missed, but it's no longer the establishment it used to be."

"This place has great staff and delicious food...this is apparent due to the fact I have been here on a few different occasions and always have to wait for a table...the wait isn't usually too long and they seem to get quality food out quickly which results in fast table turnover...I highly recommend this place for some great breakfast at a reasonable price."

"Got back to edmonton after 12 hr departure from Hawaii and needed a quick warm up , so we stopped at Wendy's in spruce grove on our way back to hinton , a 3 hr drive , so a salad , chilli and of coarse a frosty was a real treat after airport food . It was very good , we went thru the drivethru and were on our way in no time , fed and refreshed . The salad was alittle brown so it drops the rating."

"Three people went. the breakfast was eaten by one, smokes meat sandwich from another and rueben from the third. all came completely satisfied. all were impressed. the portions heen more than enough, the eating was very delicious. there is also a deli before place so they can buy a little."

"I love classic diners and Spruce Grove has a few of them. However, this one which just opened is the best. Inside, it looks, sounds and smells like a wonderful American-style diner. The cool thing is that it is actually a franchise out of Ontario. The waitresses are friendly and very attentive (fast coffee refills and checking on us a couple of times). The decor is sunny and simple. I really like the open stainless steel kitchen area. Our meals were very good. I especially love their sausages and hash browns. Those are much better than other breakfast places. The menus are just the right length. I am not a fan of Cora's and Tutti Frutti because their menus are too bloody long, the food just isn't as good quality, and the prices are inflated in my opinion. Give me a good old-fashioned diner like this one and I am a happy girl."

"Three of us went there for dinner on a Wednesday evening. Maybe 3 tables total there. Service was slow. Husband ordered the meatlovers skillet. Was mostly ground beef (with a terrible cheese sauce on top) No refills offered on drinks. Even after he only ate maybe a quarter of his dinner and complained they did not remove from bill. Worst food we have ever had. Will never return. FYI Go to Smitty's!"
