"While in Berlin, for example, there is a Thai at every corner (which means that prices there are rather low and the quality is generally good), these are sown relatively rapidly in the Ruhr area. In the Mekong you can eat quite well and are kindly served. The size of the servings and the quality of the food is well above snack level. What bothers me a little is the premises that, in terms of size and equipment, are more suitable for a snack than a restaurant. This irritates something and makes the entire stay seem a little unround. Prices also go towards the restaurant, which I find OK."

"An exceptional adventure tour through the culinary arts of the star kitchen. Every gang a little work of art! We chose the 6 course menu with wine tasting. The size of the individual courses was very clear, but there was 2 x a greeting from the kitchen and excellent bread throughout the evening. The seating area is spacious and quiet, but we were very irritated about the narrowness in the entrance area and on the way to the seating area, where almost the entire staff is strolling and the bread is also cut and stored. Distance to corona times is almost impossible here. The mouth and nose protection of the operating personnel is of small size and actually consists only of a tiny piece of plastic, so that one should either speak of mouth or nose protection. There's a big depreciation for that. It can't be. The chefs in the open cooking area obviously have no mouth and nose protection, but also no separation, so that there is also a relative proximity to the remaining staff and also to the guests. P.S. The cook was supposed to be pampering, constantly pushing his fingers into his mouth."

"As with the last paintings, we were not disappointed today. besides a once again perfect pizza there were also very tasty noodles with gorgonzola sauce, which really deserves the name, as the main ingredient and flavor carrier was the gorgonzola and not just saw with a brocken cheese."

"A really wonderful restaurant. It is rather small so advisable to book ahead. The chef is Italian, and his wife, the waitress, is French. The cuisine is a fusion of styles based mainly around italian and french, and mainly around fish and pasta. It always tastes great, and the service is wonderful. Although the restaurant is small it is really cosy and inviting."

"Next to the famous Folkwang Museum on the Museum Square is Vincent & Paul restaurant that stands out for its stunning modern architecture. The interior is modern and oriented at the convenience of the guests. In this way they created a very pleasant atmosphere. In descriptions we read that it would offer a menu with predominantly Asian influences. But that's no longer the case, the menu is rather italian and french of origin. We had a 3 course menu for € 45.00. What can we say about it: good products, excellent prepared and vicely presented, but ultimately not so surprising or so innovative as we expected. The staff is well trained and friendly."
