"The staff were absolutely lovely, especially the maitre d', who gave us a potted history of the venue and told us about the afternoon teas and other special deals. The food was beautifully prepared and stylishly presented, but the underlying quality of ingredients stopped our meals from tasting outstanding. The lamb was tasty and well received, but the pork and chicken both lacked flavour, like average supermarket meat cooked with great skill, certainly, but it made us feel the price tag was a bit too much. With better ingredients, the cost would have felt good value for the skill that had obviously gone into the prep. The smoking mushroom presentation was fun but my friend said the mushrooms themselves tasted too much like ash and not enough like the culinary smoked flavour he was expecting. Would certainly go back but would choose a set menu rather than a la carte if we'd done this first, I think it would've felt like good value."

"1st and foremost they have filtered water.!!! My favorite dish there is (Arroz Con Pollo) Spanish yellow rice Sauteed with Boneless chicken, peppers, onions, tomatoes olives. Served with a side of plantain. I just love it. I love plantains and their plantains are delicious. If you like shrimp, bacon, and Monterey Jack? My go-to appetizer is Tostones Tio Rico. Now I've been here before so I'm very familiar with the restaurant. The drinks on this visit were OK. As for the atmosphere, it's a very nice restaurant. That's why I keep coming back. The server was OK. Hopefully, they get those drinks back up to greatness."

"First time here and it certainly won't be our last! Nice breakfast menu selections and good food quality for a very reasonable price. Coffee was a bit stronger than we like but still flavorful (We'll try the lattes next time. . Meal portions are very generous and they'll substitute anything on the menu. The half waffle (very light and flaky! is a nice option not usually seen. Be careful when you sit on the chairs as ours were very wobbly and felt like they were about to collapse. Bathrooms are gender neutral, quite large and contain a convenient changing station within. For 2 coffees, a small OJ and 2 breakfast platters the bill only came to $31 (before tip . Definitely will be one of our top breakfast spots!"

"Meals are always different when odered. Always left guessing what im getting this time. Meat Lovers (Bowl) seems like I recived the last of the bag of frozen potatos. Had a bed of crumbs underneath my meal. Bacon, eggs and pork is all I received. Sometimes i get cheese, chicken and sausage sometime i dont. Pho lly Steak Burrito is always different, maybe its cut for you, maybe it wrapped for you. Sometimes you get hash browns, sometimes you dont. Its really up to the cook that day."
