"El Caribeno has some great things going for them, and some not so great things too. We ate here for both breakfast and dinner so I'll break this review down that way. Location: El Caribeno is located at the Presidente, which is where we stay when we...come to Cozumel. Its location on the resort couldn't be better it's right on the water, in the open air (no air conditioning , under a VERY large hut. It's beautiful in the morning, beautiful for sunsets, and beautiful at night. Breakfast: We did the buffet breakfast, which is a great deal because it includes unlimited mimosas. It has an omelet station, a quesadilla station, all your normal breakfast items (pancakes, sausage, french toast, etc. , fresh fruit, numerous pastries, select mexican food, yogurts, and much more, including fresh juices. The breakfast they have is delicious and we pay every day to go. Dinner: The only bad part about dinner is things move really slow, so if you're in a hurry, this isn't your place. Appetizers are delicious, especially the homemade salads and the Yucatan sampler. For entrees, I highly recommend any of their steaks, and/or the meat sampler (Argentinian Grill . The steaks and sausage are cooked perfect, and the sides are excellent. Issues: Watch the bugs if you go at night spray yourself up, remember it's outdoor seating. Also, the dinners are expensive compared to other places, but the food is really good, so it sort of evens itself out. Service is pretty slow, so like I said, if you need to eat and run, this isn't your place. Still, I'm giving this place a 4 out of 5 stars overall."

"This little Bistro is right next door to Plaza Cozumel, up about 2 blocks from the main walk way near the ocean. There is one small table outside and seating for 8 or so within the 3 tables inside. We ordered 2 sandwiches for the plane ride home which were huge, we easily could have split one between us. Each sandwich was about $7.00 and very good. A bit thin on the ham but very delicious. Our sandwiches were toasted and came with potato wedges. They also offer a small selection of desserts.If you're walking around and looking for a great place to grab some chow, we'd suggest Patagonia."

"The Fat Grouper is the resident restaurant for Scuba Club Cozumel. If you book the inclusive meal plan you will receive all three meals. Breakfast is buffet style with a variety of egg dishes - they change daily but there is plenty of selections to choose from; pancakes, hash browns, bacon etc. You will also have a fresh fruit selection (melons - honeydew, cantaloupe, watermelon, pineapple, papaya). They also have yogurts, cereals, juices for those who wish to have lighter fare.Lunches are either chosen from a standard menu or you can select the special of the day.Dinners are a selection of three choices each day. Usually a fish, beef or chicken, pasta and vegetarian. (all meals have a vegetarian selection). The selections range from bland to tasty, just depends on what you select.The lunches and dinners always come with a salad bar of iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, celery, broccoli, cauliflower, shredded carrots, beets, sliced peppers, olives (green and black) beets, potato salad, pasta salad and tuna pasta salad. Desserts change daily and include many favorites, cheesecake, key lime pie etc. The mainstay for desserts are the ice creams. You can have them for lunch and dinner.Make sure you ask for Mario's Mexican, Mayan or Spanish coffees in the evenings. He will show you a spectacular presentation of fire, ice cream, selected liquors and a delectable concoction you will want to partake of - along with an awesome show."
