"Nice cafe, friendly staff, good tartines with homage jams, try the speculous tartine. Good coffee too. Good value for money in Geneva. Fresh fruit juices were excellent too. Seems to get busy in summer, booking may be essential for lunch or dinner. Breakfast is served until 11:30 on Saturday which was excellent for us as we only got up at 10:00 !"

"The menu is really interesting and you will find unusual dishes, which is always good to have. The evening we were there the courses were good, but not extraordinary, and I personally find that is was like the food was not tasting to its full...potential. Maybe it's just because the restaurant has recently opened and there is some more settling in needed. The service was clearly overcharged, but very kind throughout the evening."

"Went there in the afternoon around 18:00 to get a smoothie and for my surprise they had it in a big container (probably prepared at lunch time). I asked the girl if she could not make it fresh and she said NO. I then asked...for ice and the answer was WE DONT HAVE ICE. So basically I ended up paying almost 6chf for a small glass of warm mixed fruits. This place has a good location in the heart of Geneva however they will have to leverage that with a proper service and good quality products."

"We ordered a selection of tapas and were completely disappointed since eating out is not cheap in Geneva. We had the calamari that basically was frozen calamari fried for you. It wasn't freshly breaded calamari . We also ordered guacamole and it was served in a small glass with a side of taco chips. However, the chips were served in a separate small cup with all the chips at the bottom served in small pieces. It was as if you were eating from the bottom of a bag of chips just the crumbs left. We also ordered their aubergine bruschetta and it was dry and tasteless. It was a waste of money in our opinion."

"Visited twice while on holiday in Switzerland, the burgers are really nice- and the 'make your own burger' idea is really good! Really nice to just sit out and eat in the sun, also one of the waiters looks like Orlando bloom"

"Swiss eat chocolate, they fight with Belgium for chocolate country of the world, remain neutral when it comes to cheese, seen their proximity to the French, who in their turn pretend to be country of the world at everything. So strangely as it sound, in...every Swiss restaurant they try to force feed you with cheese and pickled oignons as if life depends on it, stuffing you with calories just in case we would be confronted to famine due an unexpected outbreak of military violence, probably with the French, as the rest of the neigbours simply don't care about the Swiss. So Swiss Bistro, the restaurant in the Novotel Suites in Geneva, but for neutrality reasons not part of the hotel, keeps that tradition, offering you a widespread choice of dishes, exactly pointing at that one sort of cheese they are famous for, do not remember the name, but it has holes in it. I ordered a fresh salad, it was good, the bread, my God, Swiss and bread, seemingly not a good combination. The Swiss cheeseburger, had cheese on it and a bit of burger but was nice, truly. So i ordered the cheese platter, which again was nice but the bread,my God, swiss and bread........ coffee to close, paid 55 eur, normal in Switzerland, the cows eat gold dust for lunch hence they produce expensive milk....but all and all, reasonable in quality, clean as it can be. And why, because there is nothing else around as alternative."
