"Two pirate packs ordered to go out. about 18 dollar. strangely, he gave me a change of $20, although I hadn't paid him yet! odd. then I paid. during the drive my daughter asked if the drinks and desserts were in the pocket. I. dragged me around a little and called back the load to check, and the host assured me that they were all in the same order, in the bag. at home were only two burgers, and the order of the fries and what looked like a half-range of tweebel rings, in the bag when I called back, they told me to pick up the whole thing, and so I should get it back. it was late, children were hungry and very letting that half of their order was 't there!, and I wasn't going to drive them back to make mistakes for the shops. I called the next day and said the manager would be there tomorrow morning. I received a message from the manager, then none followed in a week. When I called tonight to order again, I was told she was too busy to deal with it. so disappointing."

"Lovely family restaurant, very tasty, we were 3 couples and had Eggplant Parmesan, minute steak , served with delicious mushroom sauce and sautéed mixed seafood in marinara sauce. Our friend started straight away with the cakes- flan and also apple strudel- excellent. Cody atmosphere and friendly good service."

"Eggs benny.....mmmmmmmmm..... some of the best ever. Potatoes were so good. Came with fresh fruit. Everyone enjoyed it thoroughly. The server was really good at her job and very efficient. Not the most outgoing person but as I said she was so good. We sat outside and it was nice. I'm going there next time in in van for sure!"

"Great Sunday Brunch after Church. My wife's niece and her fiancé introduced us to The Edge Cafe located just blocks north of Vancouver City Hall, on Yukon Street at Broadway. This gem of an upscale cafe bistro is a great place for Sunday brunch, like after attending Tenth Avenue Church 5 minutes away. While there are lots of $2/hr parking meters by the cafe and on Broadway, there is FREE parking on 8th Avenue just 2+ blocks east of Yukon Street. And there is FREE WiFi while you enjoy a coffee, snack or meal. As for the food itself, it is freshly made, delicious, nicely presented, good portions and priced right. The staff are friendly and efficient. And in our case, we received a complimentary fresh fruit bowl to nibble as my wife and I waited for her niece and fiancé to arrive. Be sure to check out the daily specials as they are worth choosing. My wife had the Rustic Italian Omlette while I had The Mexican Hash for $11 each. We will be visiting The Edge Cafe often and recommending it to others..."

"Big portions. Completely tasty. Massive menu. Something for everyone. What sold me, however, is the fact that from the website you can order breakfast to be ready for pick-up at a specific time. We tried the feature and it worked a charm. Our travelling party included some who find mornings hard. Organizing to go out was just not an option. But ordering in worked so well. Those of us who were up walked the several blocks from the hotel had a pleasant walk. The food was ready at the time promised and was still hot when we got it back to the hotel. All the packaging, including utensils, was recyclable. In the restaurant, while picking up, it was really obvious that they had worked hard to remake themselves for a Covid-reality. The diners in-shop seemed happy. It was a great way to start the day. The Strawberry-filled crepes were particularly good!"

"This is a fantastic Mediterranean cafe. A salad bar keeps the lines out the door at lunch, but the hot plates, soups, shwarma, falafel plates are huge and delicious. The hard working family brings on home made style authentic dishes. Not open late... and limited...seating. Counter service."

"We had been here a couple times and got the pad thai, which is fine at best, but decided to get something else this time. Don't do that. It's just plain bad. Apparently the smoothies are good."
