"Dropped in on Saturday morning for breakfast.New restaurant in downtown Oshawa close to university and businesses.I was curious about the sign advertising breakfast for $3.99. I've seen other places do this and what you usually get is a stripped down version of the traditional breakfast of three eggs, bacon, homefries and toast.To my surprise, you get it all at Crazy Jack.The eggs were done perfectly and the potatoes (you get a lot) were seasoned nicely and crisped on a flat top grill. Three nice strips of bacon were a little crisp for me but I'll know next time.Servers were friendly and attentive.Sign outside also advertised lunch specials like lasagna with garlic bread for $5 and a daily happy hour with 2-for-1 appetizers.This has to be the best value for breakfast in Oshawa. Looking forward to trying more of their offerings."

"One would think that a restaurant that was closing in a week, and was now limiting there menu greatly, might mention that when taking a reservation. Nope. So even though I enjoy Jack Astor's at home, was greatly disappointed here and did not stay at all. There are several around but since we had limited time before our show we ended up going elsewhere in the neighborhood (Fox and Fiddle...fun fact...full menu)."
