"This is an Encinitas classic go for the bar the ambience and music. I found the food is so so and menu is tired. Service is excellent and fast. Was just a bit disappointed in the food quality. For the price it should be a little fresher and more unique."

"What a GEM!! Had no idea Leslie's even existed, even after living for in the area for 15 or so years. Definitely comfort food and very well crafted. The salmon with mushroom risotto was exquisite perfectly cooked. Wine list is just okay, and vegetarian options were limited to one entree, which was disappointing. However, don't let that stop you...Leslie's is well worth the visit. Highly recommended and easy on/off I 91."

"The best filet mignon I have ever eaten. Perfectly cooked with crisp grilled vegetables. Salad and ice cream too. Out in the middle of nowhere but was packed! Make a reservation. Took half an hour to get there, but totally worth it!"

"If I could I would probably give it a 3.5. At this price point I am expecting a perfect steak but mine had lots of fatty areas and some of it was over cooked. cocktail was not great and the duck wings were ok. Oysters were good and so was the lava cake dessert. The hostess and my waiter were awesome and friendly. At this price point I expect perfection all around. In fairness to the steak COVID has probably made it difficult to find good steaks. It did taste good."

"This is my new favorite spot! OMG...the calm chowder was Amazingly Delicious. It was the best calm chowder I've ever had. All of our dishes dessert were so flavorful. The staff was friendly and provided great customer service. This place is top notch. I'll definitely be back."
