"I stopped in at lunch today with a guy that grew up eating these sandwiches. They insisted I come try a “wedge” which is new to me, but just means sub/grinder/hoagie. I’m giving this 5 stars for two reasons. I’ve worked in sandwich places for the last 17 years. I’m pretty aware of quality and freshness when it comes to sliced meats and cheeses. 1. The bread was really good. 2. The sandwich was absolutely massive. I went with the Italian combo and the only thing I would maybe knock it down to a 4, if I did, was the meats. There wasn’t a ton of flavor which to me said maybe it was prepped a little in advance but it wasn’t bad by any means. These guys were making food nonstop for togos and deliveries from what I could see. They had a good selection of sides and salads to take home if you wanted. A really large menu to choose from as well. I would definitely come back again and try one of those chicken cutlet sandwiches next time. It looked amazing."

"We were planning to eat at Ellen's Stardust Diner but saw the line wrapped around the building and decided we were too hungry to wait. Kinda glad that happened! We walked around a few minutes and found Green Apple. We went in and looked around as they were busy but there was no line. We chose a panini sandwich from behind the counter. The Mexicano. It took a little longer then expected to get it, but they were busy and I think the guy just go overwhelmed. That being said, he was very friendly and apologized for the wait. We also got fruit from the salad/fruit bar. Decent drink selection also. Prices were average and well worth it. Check out was efficient and the ladies who rang up our order were both very friendly and made sure that we had everything that we needed. We went upstairs to eat and it was small but had plenty of seating. There were empty tables. Our food was delicious. The sandwich was a bit spicy for us, but that was on us. We read the description and saw that it would have some spice to it. The fruit was fresh and juicy. My only complaint would be the restroom. There was only one and there was a line for it. Apparently the employees have to use the same one because one employee was in there a while. I went in right after her and there was no toilet paper. Okay. But then I went to wash my hands and there was no soap! That concerned me a bit. I pray that they have a sink downstairs to wash their hands at. We would certainly go back again. It was a bit warm upstairs but they have seating out in Times Square too and we would like to sit there next time."

"Ordered Chilli fries well done and super melt. Bacon on super melt was barely done. Super rubbery and the fries was must. The chili taste old. Never will go there again. They ought to be a shame to be charging such prices for undercooked old food"
