"We had an early dinner following a trip to the theatre. We ordered a starter each- chicken wings and a prawn cocktail- both delicious. For our main we went for the Beef Wellington which is served with mash at £48 per head. We opted for 2 vegetable sides also. There is no denying the beef was very good, beautifully tender but I wouldn't recommend it for that price. I'd definitely recommend the restaurant, we just didn't feel that was good value for money. We left before dessert as nothing took our fancy. Very welcoming and friendly staff."

"We booked the long for our breakfast so we could be safe on site before our pre-ordered visit to the viewpoint at the Shard...... We were early at 10.20am, the place was empty and the lady working behind the counter gave us a rather cold look at the arrival, so we think that the place was actually open.... but the meal itself was really nice and plentiful. We found the atmosphere quite 'cold', but this could only be the time of the day we arrived, it is a clean, modern café and certainly fits to a pleasant meal for everyone who wants to visit the Shard or nearby."

"The group malmaison hotel has just launched its new sunday brunch menu “Mal am Sonntag” and will be available across all 12 of the groups boutique hotel chain. I ended up in the malmaison in barbican a hidden gem in a beautiful quiet part of this industrial area. the hotel in the interior is very modern, located in its boutique feel and oozes luxury. unfortunately we didn't stay here, but we went down to the restaurant. they call this new menu a brunch, but it's more of a banquet, I can't remember the last time that I ate this much in a session (not that I sit for two though I once). for £19.95 you will get the suppe of the day, hors d’oeuvres from the kitchen table, which is an upscale buffet style with unlimited visit very dangerous. and finally you dessert. for those with a kater they do a big bloody mary, and also the champagne bellini was very well made. the suppe was mushroom and estragon, I always seemed"

"Eating is very good, as expected. the services are very nice to them and polite. the prices are not so high that they would think when they go to a gordon ramsey restaurant. the only thing you should know is that the bark wellington 50 pfund per person and it is for 2 people, so they will pay 100 pfund do not do the mistake I did and know about the price."
