"I was last here about 12 years ago and I came back just because the palomilla steak was so good the last time around. Guess what? It's no longer on the menu, even though very recent reviews praised the dish. I settled for the vaca frita but it was definitely average, the portions were quite small, and the prices were not commensurate with what I got served. What struck me the most was how lonely the place was for a late lunch on a Saturday. As in COVID-lockdown lonely. As much as you want to enjoy and like this place, it's the memories that you'll have to hold on to."

"After traveling to the USA and always eating in Cuban restaurants. This is the best Cuban restaurant I've ever eaten in the USA. The food has the real Cuban taste. I usually don't write a comment on Google, that's like my 3rd post. You really deserve my comment. The food and the mojitos are really real Cuban and their people, te owners and waiters are extraordinary people. You feel like eating in your house with your family. If I gave them 100 stars."

"We have been going to this restaurant for 3 years, it WAS great. Now horrible, the owners and workers need to get it to getter quick or they will be out of business. We stopped in 10 days ago, thought Emapanadas, would be fast, 30 minutes later they came, hot and fresh, we also ordered a cuban seafood stew. Another 20 minutes goes by, we had to go, I went to the kitchen, a girls said its ready, good but after more than 45 minutes, sad. So, last night my wife had a stalk of plantains, she wanted to give to the restaurant. We tried to get Empanadas, this time 45 later we 4 Emapanadas, but not the main course, good but service was poor, we had to listen and watch 2 TV's with kids cartoons playing and kids running around. No refills on water. Another 25 minutes to get mortos con christianos and marinated pork. The pork was deep fried, but old Double cooked, to nothing, check the photo, the black beans in rice were heated to a crisp in the microwave and in a clump. We asked for our check as the main course came, no bill, my wife had to open the kitchen door and ask again. Fail, fail, lazy people, reheating old food, and doing bad at it.. Never again will we go back..."
