"I ordered the crab cake sandwich without tomatoes. I took a bite and right after the onion was overwhelming. The crab cake itself was a nice size but was extremely tasteless, even with the sauce. Once I added some of my seasons I was able to eat the sandwich, The lettuce was beautiful and crisp. If there was just a little bit of old bay seasoning or salt and pepper the crab cake sandwich would be like a 8 or 9. Oh and the bread was soft and fresh perfect. Maybe I will try this again in a few months and see if they still have onion on the sandwich. Ive been trying to find a really good crab cake since moving to North Carolina from Baltimore Maryland. I have tried and tried and still havent found not 1 food spot that can make a good crab cake. I make great jumbo lump crab cakes but I dont always feel like cooking. I guess I will just have to continue to make my own crab cakes."

"I've eaten here a few times on my stays at the DoubleTree hotel. The bar staff are friendly and the food is of great quality however they can soon become overwhelmed when the numbers get beyond 10 to 15 people. The selection of beers on tap needs to be improved and they should reconsider placing a massive tent outside the only windows to the bar blocking what otherwise would be a fantastic view of the lake."
