"It was a Thursday evening and we arrived about 7.30. They weren't too busy but it filled up a bit later. We were offered a variety of breads to start. Lots of choice on the menu. I ordered the duck with orange and brandy sauce. When it came it was half a duck, beautifully cooked with a delicious sauce. I ordered saute potatoes and courgettes, which were coated in thin batter and deep fried. Everything was gorgeous. My companions had steak and lamb dishes, also excellent. Since it was my birthday we had dessert. They have a dessert trolley from which you can choose more than one dish. There was trifel, cheesecake, fruit salad, tiramisu, lemon tart, chocolate mousse, chocolate cake, creme brulee and possibly more. The service was exemplary and the bill not outrageous. Highly recommended."
