"This place doesn’t look like much. In fact, a newer and more hip Thai street food restaurant opened across the street, and you’re probably more likely to want to check that out. Meanwhile, “Best of” awards from the early 2000’s sit dusty on the walls of Penang.Though they may be struggling to stay relevant, Penang still serves what I believe to be the best Thai food in the county. Everything I’ve had from the menu has been great. It’s authentic and they care about the quality they serve to you."

"Absolutely the best raw oysters I've had! Virginia Blue Points today! Best price for. Dozen anywhere north of the Gulf I've had! They also have fried and grilled selections of perch, flounder, catfish and others. I am so pleasantly surprised! I came here several years ago and it was so bad that we left. This time, it was the best I've had this far from the coast!!! You must try it!"
