"Our friend who works in the area took us to this restaurant for lunch. It is a quaint restaurant with nice ambiance inside. The server was nice. The menu has several options and the dishes are pricey. They do not have lunch specials. The food was delicious."

"Food was terrific, service outstanding, friendly and prompt. They had a band that was so loud we couldn't hear each other even when we were shouting. Very disappointing to have spent this much money for what turned out to be an excruciating experience. We complained to both our server and the hostess. They agreed the music was much too loud. DO NOT go here if the band is going to be playing!!!"

"The restaurant was pretty much empty when I went for a weekday lunch. Ordered a veg pasta dish. Taste was OK, not great. Service was good. They gave me a complimentary cake at the end but I think that was just because it was probably going to go bad soon. It did not taste fresh."

"Had a large variety of sushi as well as wonderful vegetarian options and appetizers. Service was horrible but that was most likely due to holiday overload. All you can eat sushi is a great deal for lunch or dinner. Corkage fee also very modest"

"I don't know what happened. I had pasta carbonara here for the last 6 years. It was perfect all the time. All of a sudden, the last 2 times we ordered, the bacon was burnt, and made the carbonara taste absolutely burnt. It was inedible. Since we ordered to go we basically had to throw it away. We tried again few days ago. The burnt flavor was not that intense, but the bacon was still burnt, black burnt pieces everywhere, the sauce we loved was not there anymore... I don't know. This dish was our favorite dish of all time. And it is not anymore. We are a bit heart broken. Unsure if the cook is different, if the owner has changed, I don't know. But the pasta carbonara is not the same. Sadly."

"As I have described in my review for La Fontaine, this restaurant also on Castro St. is a great place for a night out. They have limited draft beer options but their bottled beer offerings feature exclusive beers from Greece, Armenia, Turkey and such other mediterranean countries. They have reasonable options for vegetarians as well and the servers are extremely professional and friendly."
