"We heard that this place is famous for its mussels, so we decided that we wanted to try them. You can choose between mussels with white wine or with a spicy tomato sauce! The mussels were very good. For 3 dollar you can add some french fries. We had a really lovely dinner, but the service was not good at all."

"We had a wonderful meal at Coasters Seafood Restaurant this past weekend. This truly is a hidden gem in the Byward Market. Food was terrific and the vibe is great. Having a live musician is a nice touch. I had the spicy shrimp linguine and it was very tasty. Our window view gave us a great view of the Byward Market. I also love the extensive wine list that is available. Our server was terrific, very accommodating and pleasant."
