"Our first trip here, and we enjoyed a nice meal. Our server was pleasant, professional and attentive, and the food was very delicious. My wife had the Lammkabob and I Alexander's Favorite, and both dishes were well prepared. You must be hungry to finish Alexander's favorite, it is a great meal, but very tasty. The wine list is not extensive, but well sorted, and we ordered one of our proven and true favorites on the list. We will return!"

"This place has gone downhill from its glory days. I happened to notice the time it took for our salad (a salad! to arrive: one hour exactly. By the time we were done with the tasteless pasta, we had been in the restaurant for 2:30 hours. Terrible service. The pasta Alfredo was simply tasteless. The sauce was basically milk with flour. The salad was pretty good, tho."

"This is one of my favorite restaurants in the Bay Area. The food is delicious, the service is usually perfect, the ambiance is calm and not too noisy, and I always enjoy being there. I highly recommend this restaurant, especially if you love Asian flavors."

"I would recommend Sprout Cafe if you were looking for healthy, independent dishes. I ordered the Asian Chicken Noodle soup and it was very light and fresh. My husband made his own salad, including Baby Arugula, Fenchel, Edamame, and fenced granny forging apples mixed with light dressing. We were happy with our food, but disappointed with the water provided. The water provided had a mixture of watermelon, cucumber and lemon, and the taste was distracting and not refreshing. We prefer Sprout Cafes previous options of lemon OR cucumber water, as we found these refreshing. We also preferred sprouts of previous bread about their current Foccacia offer."

"The kababs quality are one of the best in the region. However, the stews do not have consistent quality. I have ordered Gheimeh Bademjan, ghorme sabzi and fesenjoon in different occasions. Sometimes they are really good, sometimes they are really bad. For example one time they apparently used salt instead of sugar in fesenjoon and the fesenjoon was salty (however i should mention that they sent me another fesenjoon with my next order to compensate that). Also we got gheime tonight and it was too oily and under cooked."
