"Spet 25, 2016 <br/ <br/ East One Seafood Restaurant is the resting place for my last meal out with my friends for a while. My summer vacation is coming to an end. Surprisingly I've eaten at three Chinese restaurants for dinner in the last week. (Golden Spring Restaurant, Kwan Luck Restaurant and East One Seafood Restaurant) I must say this one takes the cake.<br/ <br/ Of the three, In terms of price, this is the cheapest. In terms of how busy it was, this was more. In terms of portion, this place brought on the appetite. Last on the list, quality. The food seemed a little better than the other three. Prawns were actually crispy, the red bean dessert actually had beans (check out the photo) and a mouth feel, not watered down with water or a burnt pot taste. My mom would approve of this place, my mom hates how every place is extremely salty and loaded with MSG. Upon eating a few bites I could say it was under salted and tasted as if I made this at home. It's exactly how one would make food at home. With love and seasoning and not have any need for boat loads of MSG and salt.<br/ <br/ We ordered the set dinner combo for three which included soup half chicken 3 of your own choice dishes dessert. Out the door we paid just under $60.00 tax and tip in. The service could be better but they were slammed busy. Even at 8:45 PM when we left, 85% 90% of restaurant was seated and more people were still flowing in. Giving it was a Saturday night it's possibly skewed."

"I love the free parking (parking everywhere under the earth and give your license plates to the computer in the entrance) and the friendly service. Always come here for dimsum, casual dinners, special events and more and are never disappointed. Eating is always good."

"We did a bit of grocery shopping then decided to go for dim sum close by. This restaurant does not have a noticeable store front so you’d have to know about this place or you could easily walk right by it. The place is small...and needs some refreshing but caters to the older Asian crowd in the neighbourhood. Food is pretty good for the price point. Portions are quite large."

"Decide to take a stroll along the Drive. Spotted this restaurant and decided to stop in. Soooo glad we did.Sat outside under their covered patio. With Vancouver's heat, humidity and smog issues, the slight breeze was wonderful.FYI we are light eaters! So we shared a salad and a pizza. We ordered the Mista salad, lettuce, cucumber and tomato with a creamy dressing. Too dressed for my liking but fine. One medium Contadina pizza served with 2 types of meat, mushrooms and green peppers. The crust is Napolese style, thin crust. The restaurant has a brick over inside. It arrived hot, was very flavourful and not overly salty. Great!Our lunch with tip came to around $30. The interior of the restaurant has high ceilings and lots of tables. Highly recommend this restaurant. Please view the photos!"

"The restaurant is not huge but it has personality! This incredible mural is painted along the back wall separating the diners from the kitchen. The decor is simple but classy with a touch of foodie fun. Their Happy Hour deal is quite incredible. You get three items off their eight-item menu for just $12. What a fantastic deal.I got their Prawn & Pork Salad Roll with their peanut sauce. I LOVE that peanut sauce. OMG, delicious!!! Everything was so fresh and clean, no MSG…If this is the mini Pho, I can not imagine how big the regular Pho must be! I added the garnishes, lime juice and then tasted a spoonful and knew there was something missing. Usually when I order Pho, it is take out and there are all these little sauces you add. I asked my server what I was missing. A NEW sauce! They have a SPICY hoisin for the Pho. Oh yeah… Much better! I did not find it super spicy, just incredibly flavourful and exactly what the Pho needed.I ordered the pork spring rolls but many of these appetizers had vegetarian options. These are available in veggie and tofu. Dipped in their dip-able fish sauce (which still blows my mind that they created such a genius foodie product) it made these crunchy treats a little funky in the best of ways.
