"Been searching for a good soul food restaurant close by for a while and stumbled across this one on Google maps. The reviews were mixed, but mostly good and enough to get us to make the drive from the Bronx. And boy are we glad we did. The guys behind the counter are really friendly and knowledgeable about what they are serving you. We got the combo platter fried chicken and short ribs. Mac n cheese, string beans (great flavor) for me and Mac n cheese and potato salad for him. The sides were good, the chicken was good but the short ribs were really good. So tender and the sauce was deeeelicious. And the portions were HUGE. They gave us so much food that we have to wait until tomorrow to try the cobblers we bought. Will definitely be back."
