"So we park on the road and go out of the car that man goes to his car starts to tell us how big that is eating and how full it is. then tells us “ naw, it’s my place. I am the owner.” we spend about 30-40 minutes talking to john and become friends right away. on the veranda of everyone who comes out, wears dog bags and stops telling him how wonderful it was eating. he spoke to literally all who come and go as if he knew them all of his life. cut to eat. fried chicken was amazing. everything was fresh. not from a dose. green beans, mais, kartoffelbrei. and salat! yummy! and the best brotpudding since sno. the atmosphere is so welcoming and secret I felt as if I should help clean the tables as well as at home. I recommend this place definitiw."

"I decided to come here recently because I had the memories of those in Winnie when I came back a kid from Galveston. I'm so glad I came because everything is delicious! Anything. My grandparents and I have eaten some times at the buffet, and we all love it. The roles, the chicken (I am not even a big fan of chicken) Mac and cheese, corn, potato salad, broccoli salad and much more are great! It is also favorable to eat here, and the facility is quite clean. Don't go to Hartz, RUN!"

"Ordered a Philly cheese steak sandwich, was yummy. Hubby ordered a Reuben sandwich which was different than anything I have ever tasted, but it was good, too. The place was pretty much spotless and the cashier was very helpful and friendly. It's a cozy place for a relaxed meal. It's not cheap, I saw it had only one dollar sign to describe price...it's more like 2 dollar signs...not complaining, just making an observation. I added a personal bag of chips and a diet Dr pepper to my $8.56 sandwich for $4.89. we didn't realize until after we paid ?... We weren't penny pinching, cuz don't go out to eat if you can't afford it, but again, just letting folks know what to expect. We will go again and I recommend this restaurant to any foodie."

"I usually do not calculate fast food fried chicken spots, but this is definitely worth mentioning. I have to have a child's meal when I lived in Texas and there are fried chicken gizzards! And they were fantastic, with good battery, Gravy and Koleslaw! I haven't had this since the early 2000s! The meat was tender, which is hard to do for chicken gizzards, and overall a good value. If you have a Hanker for Gizzards, check out this place! Not many restaurants offer more."

"Home style Soul Food at it 's Finest! A-1, Rosie 's!! Phenomenal. I had the Smothered Pork Chops, Candied Yams, and Okra 'n Tomatoes, With a slab of Dark Chocolate Cake. Only complaint? Cake WAS just a LIIIITTLE BIT dry. But everything, and everyone, else was STELLAR. Highly recommend to all and sundry. And ...that GRAVY?? Man! Haven 't had the like in years a 'plenty...since my Gran died, I 've not had such fine, down home good food. And the GRAVY!?...shhhh...!! Now! Don 't say this loud, cuz she 'll roll right over in that Casket...but (I do love n miss you SO, Gran! Oh man I do!! But .... Rosie 's is better than my Gran 's was. Omg it was rich, smooth, and creamy without one HINT of lump, and no taste of too much CornStarch as a trick either!! PERFECTION IN ALL CATEGORIES. Only thing...Id sink a tad more capital into interiors and decor...but...if you 're looking for good a**food and not worried about good a**table arranging and such...? Knocked it out tha ' PARK Rosie 's... Firing on all cylinders, y 'all!! Superb."

"The only thing that was really good was the service, I have eaten Wendy's in many states and the food doesn't get better, I mean can we please have melted cheese, fast food consists of a quick hot lunch but it's never the case with them.. sorry but I just can't eat at any Wendy's again, thinking about my food the other day literally makes my stomach hurt... buuuut... the service was exemplary.. great staff and fast.."

"Went for Sunday brunch with a party of about 10. Called ahead and made reservations when arrived everything was perfect. Live band was playing and they were awesome. Requested song and once he heard the song he was able to play it. Manager was very friendly and visit every table . Waitress Ginger was new but very attentive but not over bearing. Food was ordered and delivered promptly. Kudos to the chef because everyone raves about how delicious it was. Everything was fresh and delicious. I have no complaints and totally recommend for Sunday Brunch!"
