"Evacuated from Port Arthur to Katy for Hurricane Laura. We wanted something different that's not sold in our area. We saw this place thought it was KFC but noticed it was different so we decided to try it. I apologize because I don't like giving bad reviews. The service was good but that chicken need to be seasoned, the Macaroni was disgusting, the mash potatoes and gravy"

"My husband thought this would be a good place to get some korean fried chicken so we went. Man this place sucks, its like eating panda express for Chinese food, def not authentic. It was literally like fast food. I know to usually stick to the asian restaurants on grand parkway or just a restaurant that serves authentic korean fried chicken but we wanted to try something new. Anyways my husband ordered wings, there was like 6 small drummettes and wings, and then 3 huge drumsticks that looked more like turkey legs. He said they were pretty dry. as for me I ordered the fried rice with bulgogi.... which leads to the sucky ass customer service. The lady thought she was good remembering everything so we were like ok; she instead brought me chicken fried rice, she forgot to bring napkins, or the drinks, and only brought stuff when would remind her. She was more preoccupied gossiping with the other employees. Once she noticed I was getting irritated with her service she insisted on bringing me bulgogi which I declined bec my rice had already taken a long time. she still brought it and once she did bring it it was like a little bowl with some tiny ass pieces (almost as if that was the only thing left in the back) the only thing ok was the fries. I hardly ever write reviews, but this was def one to write about"

"Amazing food, the Mac and cheese urban fries are my favorite. I also love that you can customize your spice level. I can?t handle the heat so I got country battered and it was very good. Most of the negative reviews are complaining about the waittime, but it takes time to fry the chicken fresh to order. Overall a great experience and it was clean in the restaurant."

"This was our first time there for lunch at noon. The place was packed, but two tables remained. We were probably seated and waitress came almost immediately bringing us menus. My wife chose chicken tenders with mashed potatoes and gravy. I had the 8 oz jalapeno burger with cheese and fries. It was an unusually long wait for the food to arrive but considering the volume of customers that was not surprising. When the food around it was piping hot, pleasantly percentage and properly prepared. My fries were fresh cut potato strips. Hamburger consisted of a sesame seed bun, Mayo, America cheese, thick ground beef patti, leaf lettuce, tomato slices, jalapeno slices pickle slices, but no onion! That's a deal breaker for me, because a burger without onion is bland burger. I would have waited for the waitress to return, but I was hungry and needed to get on with my day. The fries were not exceptional, but good, The fried chicken tenders were cooked to a dark brown, reducing the oil temperature would have helped, but were still moist enough. Basic flour gravy mashed potatoes. Basically, I would call Snappy's an old time Texas Cafe, the likes that every town had when I was a kid for an assortment of comfort food. That is now a rare find."

"We love this wild wings so far. Wings are always on point after a few visits, good drinks and customer service has been okay! My opinion it depends on who your waiter is. But overall they have some of the best wings around. They are season just right and not heavenly sauced. The wings are just right!!!"

"Staying at one of the many hotels off the highway, this place blows away all the chains. Worth the extra .3 mile drive. For a place that looks like it’s been there 40 years it’s SUPER clean. Not going to get a better steak under $20 and the service was out of this world. I’d rate 5 stars just to have these nice people serve me bread and butter."
