"We had lunch at Axe Barrel with my brother-in-law and his grown sons. They offer good solid pub grub here. The food was really tasty, the portions were substantial and the prices were reasonable. We will definitely be back next time we're on Vancouver Island."

"Masters Lounge in Westin Bear Mountain is a great place to eat and drink on a nice day or I could imagine even on a cold day! Today was by far the best visit yet! Food was amazing, service was even better! Brand new server Sierra her second day!!! We were blown away! What a wonderful young lady with a beautiful smile, she definitely makes the place complete for the best impression. if I had a restaurant she would be the first to know! <br/>The best service I think we have ever had. <br/>Definitely going back! <br/>Impressed!"

"I ordered stir fried yam noodle. It came in a generous portion. The dish was pretty decent. The price was also quite reasonable. The service was great. The waitress was all smiling and cheerful, she really made our dining experience very pleasant."

"Went there for dinner on a Friday. Ordered the Tom Kha as an entree, then fried rice, beef masaman and larb chicken. The rice came out first and 10 mins later the tom kha came out, The rice was cold by the time the other dishes were delivered. The Tom Kha was terrible.... tasteless and the rest of the dishes weren;t much better. Went there about a year ago and the food was great. Definitely gone down hill. Wasted my money."
