"The food was good, not great. Service sucked. One meal was 30 minutes late to the table. Wine came 40 minutes after ordering. Spoke to Manager, he was ambivalent to the whole mess. Why come here with all the better options nearby? Not us."

"Great selection of items on the menu, good location. We were able to get seated right away and the service was pretty fast. Food also turned out great and it’s a very unique restaurant. Definitely recommend! The prices were very reasonable as well, you just might have to be on the hunt for parking."

"This was a great restaurant for date night. We had a reservation but it wasn’t too busy at the time we went for dinner at pm. Only like a min walk from our hotel Palomar. The food was so good. Maybe the best we had while in Miami. Hubby got the Spicy Jambalaya. A little spicy but I took a few bites and it was so good. I got peppered steak/filet, mashed potatoes, and Mac n cheese. Our appetizers were the firecracker shrimp and four cheese spinach dip. I’m really picky when it comes to trying new food but everything we ate was delicious. Try the Malibu peach cocktail...so good if you like sweet cocktails. I also got the Long Beach tea one I finished the Malibu peach cocktail but couldn’t finish it just because I was so full from eating the food."

"Great Miami Beach spot. Not many great restaurants in this area, so it’s nice to have an authentic southern spot around here! The food is super delicious, quick service, and quite cute decor and environment. Not too loud, and not crowded. All around great place. We got the beignets, the biscuits gravy, and the chicken egg sandwich."

"Went two times and enjoyed the food and the service as well. Truth is ,I enjoy the chef and liked supporting the location. We went a 3rd time, through a Travelzoo voucher.That experience really marred our opinion on the restaurant as we were treated fairly poorly,(basically ignored presumably because a 20% tip is baked into the voucher and perhaps the thought is I don 't need to try . Regardless, it was shocking at how crappy the service was. To be honest, the food was still good(maybe better?? , so I can 't take that from them. So, if you haven 't gone-go. Be careful with the vouchers...."
