"After witnessing the rave and colorful Coldplay concert in Manila, we decided have dinner somewhere near where we're staying. I was wishing for a good and decent meal but I wasn't expecting much since it was already late. I was ready to settle with fast food from convenience store or plain fried chicken from Mini Stop until we discovered a small resto that serves great Thai dishes and noodle soup.

We ordered Mixed Thai Noodles which was their best seller. We also tried their Khaw Krug Kapi (Bagoong Rice) and we had Thai iced tea to complete our Thai dining experience.

Sen Lek Thai Noodle is no-fuss dining place that serves delicious and satisfying Thai dishes. Though their offerings are quite limited, you'd be delighted with the simple menu selection and relatively fast service.

thelifeaholics.com"

"Fairly nice set-up and atmosphere. Unfortunately all praises will have to stop there. We were the only customer for late lunch and yet it took them 45 mins to serve our pasta. Staff were just standing around doing nothing. They started to work after we...followed up our order. Walter reasoned that pasta would be hard if they cooked it less than 15 mins. Seriously, aglio olio is the easiest pasta to cook. Servings not too much for the price. Plus bw warned, the menu price does not include vat. So don't be surprised when you receive your bill. Avoid this place"

"The food was really nice. no question about it (although her mushroom soup seems different than what I have always been in regular customers, but not on this second-hand apart from my mushroom soup, all food was good. 3 stars, although the customer service is very bad."

"It was my first time when we went here with my friends. I really love their baby back ribs that falls of the bones and just melts in your mouth. I would definitely go back but this time, with my family."

"
Uprice is located at the 4th level Prism Plaza restaurant complex of Two E-Com building in the Mall of Asia complex. You should visit it sometime. There are occasional events in its breezy open plaza on weekend evenings - acoustic acts, you get the gist - and it boasts of awesome views of Manila Bay, both day and night. It is, as another reviewer has noted, a good vantage point for observing MOA's fireworks.

This restaurant-bar offers buckets, flavored ice coolers, and more than an interesting selection of bar chow together with gems of their own, like homemade bacon, which they serve "silog" style with tasty shoestring potatoes on the side. The bacon is lightly cured and cut into thick rashers; good stuff. It is the house specialty.

They also make good use of beef plate (aka beef belly) for their home-cured corned beef, and salpicao, which come in solid portions (I think portion size used to be an issue, and I believe it's been addressed). Their tropical salad - a refreshing mix of tender greens, mango and nuts, is a solid addition to the menu; it is of very good quality and execution.

There are a number of items in the menu that will go well with liquor - from their beef quesadillas, the aligue rice balls, nachos, and buffalo wings; I recommend the tokwa 't keso - the cheese sauce combines surprisingly well with the crisply fried tofu; classic tokwa 't baboy is also on the menu.

My visit was hosted by Zomato and the restaurant, so we pointed that a few items we sampled were too salty. Hopefully they took note of this, because it ruined some really attractive dishes like the Creamy Margherita pasta (tomato pasta with some cream mixed in).

The dessert selection is compact but very satisfactory. Frozen brazo de Mercedes has been adapted into a cupcake shape, the meringue piped into a ring, the yema filling in the middle of the cake; this creation is called "crazo," another original creation. Their brownies and blondies, dressed up a la mode with ice cream and caramel sauce, are exactly what you expect them to be.

There are touches of originality to the menu worth noting, and I think that their chef, given the opportunity, would love to show off more of what they're capable. I recommend they keep an eye on the seasoning; they've sorted out the rest.

"
