"Have been coming to Get Chucked since it first opened back in it's first location. First time I went I said it was the best burger I've ever had but unfortunately it has since gone down hill. This was probably my 5th or 6th time visiting and none of it was great really. Busy bank holiday with only one member of staff who was struggling (not her fault), long wait for orders to be taken, very long wait (with a toddler) for the food to arrive, another long wait for the table to be cleared and then another long wait to pay. I asked for my burger to be well done (don't like pink meat, personal preference) and they said this couldn't be done because they have to cook all the burgers at the same time... never heard that one before but okay. Chips were nice, husband enjoyed his burger but it had things missing from it that were meant to be on it and the bread on my burger was so burnt it just tasted like burnt cheese on toast. Wasn't worth saying anything because we didn't really have the time to wait for it to be resolved after already being there over an hour. Like I said, always loved and supported this place but it's really gone downhill and I can't see us returning."

"I had a beef madras with chips and a beer for £8.80. I ordered a hot drink on the app for additional £1.50. Very good beef madras with a generous portion of chips. The beer was a festive favourite: Rocking Rudolph."

"I read through the 78 reviews on Google 4.5 out of 5 and the only negatives were around service! Food is really nice, it's one man cooking and serving food, and everything else involved in running a business. The food is 100% and he is a top bloke who no doubt gets very busy. If you're in a rush, ring ahead. Give him a try, excellent"

"The food is fresh and hot. Soul food at it's best. The earth food, yam, dumpling, potato and green banana is just what you need in the weather to come. Couple that with a rib-sticking oxtail stew or tender steak and you are ready to face anything. Finish with any of the familiar, comfort desserts will take you back to your childhood. My daughter and I loved it and think you will, too."

"Sadly had a poor lunch here last week. This has been a local cafe for me since it opened and the food has always been great. Sadly the place was nearly empty but we still waited over 35 mins for a salad and a bacon butty.Average food on this visit .There was loads of stuff that was not available on the creased piece of paper that they were using for a menu. I was told it was due to the extractor fan not working. I hear that the place is in the process of being taken over so I hope that the new owners will give this lovely little cafe the tender loving care it deserves. Its a great location and when the sun shines the outdoor seating is fab. Heres to the return of great food, good portions and some early door opening for the summer.....Please xx"
