"Solid food and lovely ambience, though short of being anything especially memorable. The Cullen skink starter was delicious, and was the best part of the meal. The pie was disappointing and lacking in flavour. The vegetarian burger was more of a sandwich and was very dry."

"Out of all my favourite foods, the steak is my pet peeve. It's such a hard thing to get right, depending on the chef's expertise and how well they know their grill. Sometimes you ask for a medium rare steak and get served a well done steak instead. The Buffalo Grill is a favourite haunt for the OH and I whenever we're in the mood for some moo. I'm a big mushroom fan and often that's what I look for on a menu and pick the first dish with mushroom on it. "The Edinburgh Larder has two sections: the one on the right side is for people who booked a table in advance, the one on the left side is where you can wait to get seated without making a reservation upfront we had to wait for less than 5 minutes around 11 a.m. to get a table. The English breakfast £13.95 was delicious it's not the biggest portion you could get for the price but the ingredients are locally sourced so it's worth it , the waffle £8.5 was good too, not too sweet. I wasn't the biggest fan of my oat milk chai latte £3.7 as it tasted a bit watery could be because of the oat milk, not enough spices/syrup or lack of an extra espresso shot but the cappuccino £3.2 was good. The staff is very friendly, note that there's a 10% service fee automatically included in the bill. Note: The meals are currently being served in reusable metal containers because of COVID."

"Olive branch is one of my favourite resturants in Edinburgh im never disappointed. They made sure that everthing was clean and safe due to covid and were understanding about my friends and I's excitement regarding being in a resturant again!! Food was great and fresh, wine was delicious. Ambience and staff was lovely"
