"This once excellent Burger Restaurant has, for whatever reason, degraded over the years 2020/2021. The problem started when I (who used to be a regular customer) ordered two burgers from an obviously new staff. The take-out meal was in optical good condition, but full of...tiny bones in the two patties. Dangerous for the gum and teeth, and a no-go for a burger place. It took me months to come back to that once beloved place. When walking up to the counter, two members of staff were talking to each other. After two minutes standing there without a glimpse of customer service — I left."

"If you want to have breakfast in Cologne, I can only recommend Café Riese. I have breakfast here for many years and the last visit to Cologne was the first point of departure. Always very smooth, the plate well filled. The beggars who are more and more part of the city's image and regularly harass the guests and sometimes several times the same people. This would have to be a little more decontamination by the staff or office."

"We had lunch at this horrible place. I have never seen such a dirty place in my life. The food was horrible, and the plates smell like fish and had stains on them. I still cannot forget the disgusting smell."

"I went twice at lunchtime. They have lunch specials at about 6-8euros the food is reasonable and portions adequate they are simple old style Chinese Chop Suey, Chow Mein fried rices etc. The main menu had a good selection of dishes. While there is a lift there is still a lot of stairs and more stairs to the toilet I think it is probably totally unsuited to disabled guests I enjoyed the food but the service was not the happiest I have had."

"We had an american breakfast at the Cafe Bonnen and whilst it was not quite what you'd expect in the US, it was really nice and filling plus very good value for money. Friendly service and also baby friendly. They have an amazing range of...patisseries also.... We ate here rather than our hotel which was too expensive for breakfast."
