"I always tell friends from the city not to worry about what restaurant they go in New Orleans, you just can't get a bad meal here. This restaurant proves that Metairie is not New Orleans. The ambience is great if you like to eat in Hospital Cafeterias. Very strong, brightly lit and loud, without trying to make the environment attractive. The food was absolutely terrible. My seafood gum was thin and watery. The aubergine Sophie should come with a bright cream sauce, but came with the same kind of white gravy you get to breakfast with cookies. The angel hair pasta was over boiled and muddy. The pecan encrusted catfish of my wife was tasteless, watery, encrusted in bread crumbs instead of pecans and had only a few pecans on the top that were then burned. Their green beans saw, felt and tasted as if they had come from a can and were smeared and God knows what. This was once in a life experience. We never go back."
