"Yes, Lumpy's is difficult to find. It is around the side of an office building so follow the signs to the Guatemalan consulate and keep going. They have been in business for over 25 years so they are doing something right. Lumpy's is definitely a locals bar and most everybody seemed to recognize or know each other. Even though we were not local, we were welcomed in and service was excellent with several staff members checking on us. Food was good and beer was cold and fair priced. It is a good place for sports and several screens were on throughout the bar. On the night we were there Karaoke was popular. The only drawback we had was cigarette smoke. It is a bar that allows smoking and it seemed everyone was a smoker. We sat at the outside courtyard to avoid the smoke and had a good night. For a nice night at a locals hangout, you might try Lumpy's but be okay with the smoke."

"The food was really good. My only complaint, and the only things holding me back from five stars were 1) that the salad-bar 'fixins ' were a bit sparse. Honestly would have liked to see some diced ham, chopped boiled egg, chopped bacon (or at least bacon bits), etc. And 2) they did not have any bread out at all. Used to love their cornbread. Seemed like the baker was not doing much, cause in fact there were no cookies either. Otherwise, the fried chicken was good (bit greasy, but that was to be expected). Overall, good, cheap, greasy spoon buffet."

"I had the bbq chicken with green beans and corn and it was great. The price here is high, I paid $13 for two pieces of chicken and two sides. The ordering was not conductive to a large group as each person had to order first at the counter and then wait for the food to come up. By the time the last person got their food the first half were finished eating. I loved the apple fritters. I can't speak for the ribs but they looked good."
