"After reading other reviews, I drove 30 minutes to sample their shrimp Po Boy. It was well worth it, I'll do it again. That should tell you everything, but here goes. The sandwich was excellent. The sauce (I asked for medium spicy) was outstanding and the shrimp were lightly fried in batter. The combo of sweet (some pickles) and spicy, in a soft roll with light crunch and shrimp texture was everything my mouth could want. I've been to NOLA more than a few times, and I can tell you they have the food. Next time I want to try the gumbo. Go!"

"As always, the Yearling brings it home! I forgot to take pictures half way through our appetizers and meal, but we ordered two of the appetizer combos? gator, frog legs, fried mushrooms, and fried green tomatoes. For our entrees we ordered a burger, catfish sandwich, two orders of venison, escargot, and duck. All were cooked to perfection with nice southern sides such as collard greens, grits and okra. I?ve been to the yearling many times over the years and they are consistently top quality Deep South home cooked meals and the atmosphere can?t be beat! If you would like to experience ?old Florida?, this is the place to go! 100% recommended."
