"It's worth stopping in for the house-made chips and guacamole. The bar is nice and usually pretty lively. All the other items on the menu that I've tried have been really good, but honestly the chips and guac. are exceptonal. A fun neighborhood restaurant."

"I had the two piece plate with baked beans and cole slaw. Chicken breast and wing was delicious. Spicy crunchy skin on mild level. Macaroni and cheese side was really cheese and good. Recommend trying!"

"One of the most delicious, zesty, and vibrant vegan eateries/ restaurant in Oakland, Bay Area for the culture! Hella Nuts is Black women owned, conscious, and vibrant! They took me back to the south with the delicious, gourmet style fried green tomatoes (with corn meal). It had a Bay Area gourmet twist with truffle sauce that was amazing garlicy zesty tangy, on top of the fried green tomatoes with lionsmane! I also loved the “I can’t believe it’s no flesh” sandwich, made with fried lionsmane in corn meal, with lettuce, tomato, cornichon pickles, and a dill sauce! Hella good! ?! You will looooove! The fried cauliflower was also delicious, zesty, and great texture! I also ordered a side of fries delicious too! You will love it all; so many options on the menu!"

"Pican is a great restaurant with amazing food. Their brunch menu is very tasty. Our waitress recommended a carafe of pomegranate pineapple mimosas and they were delicious. Pican is a friendly and relaxing dining spot with class and authenticity. I will go back again and again."
