"So happy GB is still here. It was dificult deciding what dish to select from the menu. One side of my family is from Louisiana and the other Gullah country. What I ordered was delicious and comforting. I suggest going with a good size party so everyone can sample each other's dish. If not, you will have plenty of leftovers."

"This hotel was a great sound. good price, very good staff very helpful and polite. the hotel is located about 4 blocks from the white house, so it is in a great location, I never felt unsafe. the rooms themselves are classic, well maintained and very clean. I was very impressed, but the people who visited this hotel and the people who visited it lounge and restaurant, which also great foods and drinks. I'd stay here again if I'm ever back in D.C."

"Food was amazing the whole group enjoyed their food. Ate it so quick forgot to take a pic customer service was on point. Would definitely recommend. Not much seating so you my have to wait but it?s worth it."

"I wish I could leave a review on food but the rude hostess made me not even want to stay. After being told I had 5 minutes to order please note we walked in at 9:23pm and they close at 10pm . I sat at the bar to place order .... After waiting 5 minutes and not greeted by bar staff we checked back with host just to be shewed away with an eye roll the same host that rushed us to order. That was enough I needed to leave and take my business elsewhere."

"This was a great spot to host my BFF's birthday dinner, but I do have several issues that would discourage me from going back for another celebration. First, I had to pay a $25 fee to bring in a birthday cake even though I called ahead and I was told that I could. They must have forgotten to mention the fee on the phone. Second, while we really enjoyed the diner- it was incredibly hot. There were so many people and it was so hot. The heat was a big distraction from the dinner party. It was super warm in the basement as well. However, the rooftop was beautiful and the food was delicious."
