"My first time. I was just really disappointed. My friend ordered the catfish Po Boy. She wanted me to try this restaurant with her. She wasn't happy with the shrimp tacos, because they literally took breaded shrimp and placed them on plain tortillas BUT the shrimp was seasoned and good. To make a fair review, this is her 3rd time ordering from here, she really liked the shrimp Po boy and she wanted to try the catfish. However, when she opened her container, the sauce was on the fish, so she couldn't enjoy it. It's too spicy for her. I asked to have the special spicy sauce put (Remoulade sauce) on the side and it was still put on the sandwich. To be fair again, maybe placing the order online was the issue. The greens had too much vinegar. I ordered The chicken strips and the pulled pork sandwich. ....well, for me, the chicken strips were very salty and the breading was very wet in certain spots where the chicken was relish/purple-ish. I ended up putting the chicken strips in the oven and throwing out the sandwich. The bread was hard, and the meat was mostly fat. I think because they don't give you a standard amount of pulled pork, that is why they use the friend onions. It just wasn't for me. I'd come back for the dessert. The food didn't take long. The bread pudding is good. The sweet potato pie is good. Just because it didn't work for me, it might work for you!"

"Every time I come in the heavier sized woman gives me complete attitude. I can be kind smile and give her niceness and she just gives complete attitude. Then she doesn't know I speak Spanish so I can comprehend when she is trash talking me to the other gentleman with glasses. The pizza can be better it needs some new sauce and the crust needs ro be cooked more. This place deserves 2 stars. There is no air in there maybe thats why she is always irritated. They charge .75 for bbq sauce which is insane! They have no plastic bags to keep food warm oh well they do just for the hispanics not for classy cute blacks. Its disheartening that someone would keep an establishment running this way but its ok. I came in this community to replace the bad with good. #dontplaywithme"
