"For a first post-covid dining experience this was very disappointing. Difficult to find, we were a group of seven and were sat right near the front entrance no atmosphere at all. I had to pay on booking before we even got there, set menu,...no choice. This place came recommended....i'm still confused. The first three dishes were morsels on a tasting plate all vegetarian, and would have summed to a total of if I had made it myself. The eggplant dish was reminiscent of slugs, and there was plenty of thickly sliced cucumber. The sushimi snapper was delicious but again, the share plate was tiny. Even if the meals had been one third larger we may have been a little more satisfied. With drinks this meal came to per head. As it was, there is no way I would return, or recommend to others, in fact I would dissuade. Went home and had a cheese toastie."

"One of my favourite restaurants in New York is Babbo by mario battali...This place ain't Babbo New York mind you, someone has obviously visited nyc and seen the place because they have lifted the name, and the design of the signage font.. Clearly not the rest unfortunately.You can't just rip someone's branding like that, not cool.Use your imagination, not everyone gets a shot at restaurant ownership, don't waste yours.Sorry guys."
