"In the past Lat 43 has been a great place to eat. Saturday 3/17, hopefully, was an aberration. We had 6:30 reservations and everything (drinks, apps, meal) came so quickly we were done by 7:05. The waitress rushed us out of there, even though the place was half empty. And the food was subpar, I was sick the next day. I will give the place another chance since it's been spot on in the past. But I won't go until the weather is nice enough to sit outside and be served fresher seafood than what I had the other night."

"The service was fantastic, and the portions were MASSIVE. The price was high, but with the amount of food you get, it's kind of hard to complain. The fried food tended to all taste the same to me, but their fish chowder was fantastic, and their tartar sauce was life changing. My wife and I actually had to leave in a hurry as she wasn't feeling well (we had just gotten off a 9 hour boat ride), and the staff was very understanding and helped us get out of there as soon as possible."

"Thank you, Helen, for introducing me to this Gloucester Gem! The Farmasea Restaurant is housed in a former local drug store. The decor includes winks to the former pharmacy (get the name play there) and photographs of the old soda counter too!The dock-to-dish menu is locally sourced, and oh My goodness, it is delicious! The steak knocked my boots off (and this Texas girl is a harsh critic when it comes to my meat)! It all went down so well with their crafty cocktails!I think I just fell in love with Gloucester!"
