"Fun locals place to hang out. Lots of local craft beers on tap. It's a hidden gem that the tourists don't know a lot about. Sometimes I go sit there to play cards or board games with friends (they have a games selection). The food is mostly typical pub fare. The service is very friendly and the vibe very comfy."

"For anyone who thinks all ciders taste the same, try the Chain Yard’s flight of ciders. They were all delicious and incredibly different. We also ordered food and it was great. They had great live music of thrush day evening, and our server was so kind and friendly. We had such a good experience we returned the next day for a pint."
