"Had a listing appt in Rocky Mount. Stopped here afterwards and what a pleasant surprise! The service was great, food was impeccable! The sweet potato fries were better than any I have ever had. Ribs were fall of the phone and the slaw was the BESTEVER!. My mother in law makes amazing slaw and this was just as good!. My husband ate the flounder burger and loved it minusone thing.....He thought the type of fancy nutty bread they use for the bun took away from the great taste of the flounder. "The staff was wonderful and fun, though a little slow. We had plenty of time to eat and didn't mind waiting fir things so it was fine. The food was only okay, though. The cheese dip tasted like it came out of a can and the asparagus were more like twigs."

"Our interaction with the staff at this restaurant was horrible--nothing like I have ever experienced. After reaching out to the owner and explaining thoroughly the events that happened at our lunch, he stated the behavior of his staff was acceptable. I offered to speak with him over the phone, nothing. After explaining to the manager, politely, that we were charged for fries we didn 't order, she let us know it was our fault for not coming up to the bar to tell them (our server was too busy). She then proceeded to laugh and make fun of my 3 year old daughter and I as we walked out of the restaurant (I guess not realizing my mother-in-law was still inside). When my mother-in-law said, 'reviews can be a negative thing ' she proceeded to follow her into the parking lot saying, 'what did you say?! ' three times. The food was also poor-stale rolls on two sandwiches, hardly any meat on the Italian and a drenched piece of bread with chewy meat on the Rueben. Maybe a handful of fries."
