"Called in for a takeaway on Sunday night and ordered salt and pepper chicken. Travelled home and opened it up to find shrivelled up bone dry tiny strips of chicken which were inedible absolutely disgusting!!! The worst salt and pepper chicken I’ve ever seen in my life. Avoid at all costs!!!!"

"No idea what’s going on with the Chinese. We ordered 6 meals and they got 4 wrong! When I rang to complain they said if I’d brought it straight back they would have sorted it out and my husband should have listened when the girl repeated it to him. However, my husband only picked it up and didn’t order it. The food was very average too. I have always rated this Chinese but not now."

"We have just recently moved into the opposite and had tried another Chinese trip out in the city that will remain nameless, as it must be the worst Chinese food I ever had, and this led us to try the big wall. Well, what, I can say. the eating was amazing from the sesam prawn toast (which I can add were the best I have ever tasted), crispy won tonne for appetitmakers. main dishes consisted of bark meat with green paprika and black bean sauce and a house special chow my with 2 portions fried rice. these dishes were up there with some of the best dishes we ever tasted from a takeaway. we cannot expect to use this retreat on Friday."

"One of the best Chinese takeaways in town. The food is excellent and the portion sizes are reasonable. Their salt and chilli range is the best I’ve had in Cumbria and I’m not talking about just ‘salt and pepper’ which most Chinese takeaways stretch to,...I’m talking about mouthwatering salt, garlic, chilli and fine onion. The collection times are punctual and the service is polite and efficient. Even during the current pandemic the staff have adapted an incredibly hygienic system ensuring every confidence in the transaction. Not the cheapest but worth the extra money."
