"This restaurant is meant to tingle at my roots (I'm Malaysian). Review? I wouldn't say the food is bad by any stretch. In fact, I would say, it's tasty if you consider the dish in isolation outside the cuisine it is meant to represent. But it's not very Malaysian to me. Seems like the flavours have been adjusted to suit international palettes. Pity...because it's rare you get Asian restaurants that do take time in making sure their deco and staff are of standard."

"Food was delicious. We stay in Loanhead and the order came quicker than some of the local take aways. Food was piping hot and the menu has a great selection. Will definitely order from them in future."

"We telephoned with a large order for collection. When we ordered, the assistant read back through the order to confirm the details were correct, which they were. Upon opening the order at home we discovered that two of the dishes were incorrect, which was disappointing,...so we called Wongs back to explain and ask that we return them to be exchanged for the actual dishes we had ordered and paid for. And that is where things went from bad to worse... The woman who took our call was adamant that the error was ours and that we had ordered exactly what we had received, which is clearly not the case seeing as the original order was repeated back to us at the point it was placed. We had been given 2 dishes with chicken on the bone, which no one in the household eats and why therefore would we have ordered something that no one likes? When we stated that what we had been given was NOT what we ordered and NOT what had been read back to us, the woman got rather shirty and denied any responsibility for correcting the error. This is a perfect example of customer service at its worst. Definitely a case of the customer is always wong (pun intended). Sadly, one of our favourite takeaways is now crossed off the menu (pun again intended) and Wongs had lost a valued, loyal customer as we won't be back again. Such a shame, as for the sake of correcting their error, what was originally a genuine mistake on their part was made into a huge deal and lost custom."

"I really like kwok, I never sat in, but that's where I go away for chinese every time. the personal is really friendly and happy to help. eating is really delicious, my favorite is the salt chili huhn, it's so good."

"Lovely restaurant, I always feel like it’s a special occasion when I visit Cool Jade with the white table cloths and flowers on the table. It’s decor is all Indian inspired and the lights are really unusual throughout the restaurant. The food is also very tasty and I’ve always liked every dish that I’ve had when I visited. Dishes that I would recommend would be the chicken sweetcorn soup to start which is lovely and chunky which is how I like it or the prawn toast is also very tasty. If you like noodles I would recommend the Beef Chow Mein which is lovely or if you are more of a rice person the chicken satay skewers with fried rice is delicious. Everything is really reasonably priced and the staff are always very friendly. Another plus is if you can’t be bothered going out to dinner they also do take away"
