"Parking lot of an unremarkable gray one-story house on a side of a local highway was almost empty. The sign said Grill Fish, Open for to Go, and something in Chinese. The building was one of those you drive by and think who on Earth would would ever go there. Inside, it was another story. Soft light, muffled sound, wooden accents, generous spacing between tables, booths along the walls. Clean. And the menu: make-your-own dry pots with dozens of ingredients to choose from, whole-grilled-fish pots with pick-your-flavor options. Four different heat levels to choose from. List of preset dishes had safe and friendly stir-fried chicken, shredded beef, steamed fish, garlic eggplant, sautéed beans, noodle soups, fried rice. And there were items indicating a real deal: stir-fried kidneys, aorta, and tripe, griddle cooked intestines, appetizing frog, chopped chili fish head, spicy chicken feet, pig ears in chili oil. Prices ? beyond reasonable. Not aware of their dry pot sizes, we started with a pork belly in the garlicky-gingery chili oil and a thousand-year egg. Ten out of ten. The size of dry pots wheeled out on a cart made us laugh. We were set for a few meals at home in the upcoming week. Sorry, not sorry. The pots were cooked to perfection. The most remarkable was the blooming flavor of Sichuan peppercorns. Numbing, tingly, sending customary electric currents through the mouth, they were especially citrusy and piney with a clear message of fruit as opposed to pepper. Cold milk bubble tea with jellied caramel ? on the house ? was a nice ending to the experience. And the service. Invisible and silent it was ever present guessing requests on an eye contact from a distance, with a quiet smile. Like in a movie. Bottom line. If you like Chinese food, Sichuan in particular, hot pots to be precise ? stop what you?re doing and head to Edison, NJ."

"Came here once with 3 friends and it?s a really interesting concept! Basically for your entree you can pick choose from type of fish, sauce, and all kinds of sides/extras, and then they bring your table a huge heated tray with what you order! The serving size seems really meant for multiple people so it was a good thing we had 4 of us. Cucumbers in spicy sauce are delicious. Lamb skewers are nice though I may prefer the ones from the nearby Dunhuang better. All in all I can see myself coming here when I have a craving for specially prepared, Asian/Sichuan style fish. A few other notes: for some reason they have a life sized War Machine character armor. Awesome even if it doesn?t uh, match the decor haha Parking is easy as this is located in the big H Mart plaza getting dessert nearby at Mango Mango or Meet Fresh was perfect palate cleanser"

"I always love to go to this place whenever I visit Menlo Park Mall! The food is always a great value and amongst the best choices in the Food Court. My only issue on this visit is that the rice was a bit dry and overcooked."

"I used to like this place when they started. They were courteous and food quality was pretty good. It’s a disaster now. Many of the staff are arrogant especially if you are calling in. They even hung up on me last time. And yesterday o ordered goat curry only to see that it was some goat bones in oil. I was slowly withdrawing from this place and it’s a full stop now. Taking customers for granted. DO NOT GO"

"We went on a busy Sunday evening. There were some negative reviews , so we were slightly apprehensive. Our fear was wrong. The service was prompt. Food was fresh and very tasty. Servers were efficient. I recommend this place to all food lovers , who are not in habit of unnecessary complaints."

"I ordered 2 spicy Hakka Noodles yesterday and they were poor taseteless no salt no spices or spices as if they were just cooked in turmeeic water. If you can't manage how they were asked when pls stop your restaurant.... I can't even go back and show them how I live in ny.... My sister told me they're good, so I'm on order for my husband as he loves hakka noodles... and they're my husband's dinner as bad as I never go back and I'm not even recommending that someone go theirs and their price were too high they me $30 bucks for 1 and all the other place $9.99. Pls never go there. If I ever go to her, I want my money back, I took pictures too. Yeah."
