"Order the half rice with crispy pork and Chinese broccoli(kailan) during lunch (11am to 2pm). The sauce they use is heavenly. My colleague brought me here and its his 2nd time. Highly recommended. We ordered one Tom yum soup but as an Asian, the soup is not spicy and sour enough. I guess it is to suit local taste."

"By far my favorite Thai place, I have followed this place for years (and I have my years) from previous locations and various names and I know that the owner and the staff have changed at different points, but I tell them what, the quality has never dipped! the band massacre is legitimate the best I ever had, the pad thai and perfect, until today I never have a bad meal there. I've eaten there, taken away, I've done the crazy hectic work-lunch run. every single person I have taken it has loved it and it is amazingly cheap for the quality of the food they give them. the staff is always super friendly and helpful. I honestly can't think of a bad thing to say about them. highly recommended."

"1st time visit geelong , found this restaurant with lots of good review , so we have stopped by before go to great ocean road, suprisly Geelong got such a good standard of Chinese restuarant , much better quality then most of the restaurant from China town Love the dish of Sichuan beef dry pot and singapore chilli crab , very tasty ! Will visit for yumcha soon. Very happy today ！All our family left with full tammy !"

"I had read the reviews for this place and was a dining of Melbourne, which I wanted to try this so-called Hidden gem. In all honestly, it can be hidden. I ordered the Chicken and the beef bento the Tempura Bento and my wife. <br>
My bento was huge (doubles of everything), but Tempura was thicker than beerhorse and had not been drained at all. After 2 minutes, all articles floated in my bento in 5mm oil at the end of each section in Bento. Yuk. The chicken of my wife had no taste or spice, and the beef curry had been so heavily dilated and ruined a beautiful tasting curry. Service average, like 5 minutes took until the table was cleaned, and the place is badly presented. I can not believe that someone compared this place to Melbourne here. <br>
Try Samurai on Glenferrie RD or Uzu Japanese in Caulfield. <br>

"We visited in a group of for a special birthday celebration yum cha. First round of drinks took over minutes to be served to our two tables. Food service was very slow but we accept that yum cha cooked-to-order during covid times is...going to be slow, however one table was overflowing with empty dishes while the other had been served one item between ten people, over an hour into our sitting. Meanwhile everyone's glasses were empty again with no sign of staff taking orders for the next round of drinks. Not even water jugs were topped up. After a word to the manager the wait staff became more attentive although at times we took to clearing the tables of empty plates and glasses ourselves. Cut and served our own birthday cake but no staff in sight for anyone to order coffee to have with their cake! Your loss I guess. Overall extremely disappointing service. Such a shame as the food is absolutely beautiful, especially the duck. Was not a complete disaster for this special birthday but certainly was a disappointment."
