"After being out for a specialist appointment it was time for some lunch, but the place we intended to go to near Glengarry hospital was closed. After checking the Internet for some Chinese food nearby (and on the way home) we decided to try this place. From the outside I wasn't sure if it was still running due to some window vandalism but as I got closer it was obvious that it was indeed open. Having to use a walking stick it was reasonably easy to get to approaching from the left side and I noted that front on there were a few steps from the carpark. The interior reminded me of a Chinese restaurant we always frequented when I was a kid. Is that to say it's a bit dated? Hmmm.....yes and no, it felt more nostalgic. Being with my mum we were just going to choose from the lunch menu but the old girl couldn't resist getting some spring rolls. Oh my god, it was a great call as those spring rolls were sensational! They were bigger than we expected but hey, they were delicious and they were polished off. I would have been happy just having those! Mum had ordered satay prawns with fried rice and I had the honey chicken with fried rice as our main meal. The food was very nice and served piping hot unlike some places I've eaten at nearer to home. The honey chicken was fantastic and I'd love to have that again. I tried mums satay and it was nice but I was definitely on the winner! We certainly did a lot of reminiscing as it really did remind us of our old favourite restaurant from the late 70's early 80's in Craigie. Fond memories inspired by the decor and the fabulous food. On a winters day, looking for a lunch after my appointment and dealing with pain (so not always feeling in the best mood to eat) I was extremely happy with the food here. I will certainly be returning, especially for the spring rolls!"

"Came here with 10 others for a birthday dinner,we tried some different dishes for a change,in particular the Butter Chicken and Mustard Beef were excellent,main meals took a while to arrive at our table but there was 11 of us."

"I order from Sanook about once a month, because I live so close and it's always good. The pad thai is the best I've had in Perth. A little pricey, but the servings are big & you pay for the good quality food."
