"Happened to be in the area and found this place on Yelp. They just recently moved to this new location in Enchanted Lakes (near Kailua Cinemas), so don't go looking for them inside Boarders in Kailua! They don't have a big sign hanging outside yet, but they're located in between a physical therapy place and Edward Jones. Plenty of parking is available in the shared strip shopping plaza parking lot. The eatery is very small with only a few tables inside. I think it's intended to be more of a take-out place. Despite their new location, it seemed like many of their regular customers already knew about the move, as the staff greeted almost everyone who walked in by name! I had read that they have a good loco moco, so I ordered that for $11.99. Loco moco is always a barometer for me when I try a new eatery. If they make a good one, then they pass the test for future visits. Their loco moco was good, but a bit salty. I like my gravy dark and rich. Their's was pretty close to that. I probably wouldn't order it again only because I want to try a few of their other menu items. In addition to their plate lunches, they also have a variety of bentos and delicious looking desserts! Service was super friendly and my order came out fast. Definitely check them out and support this small business!"

"5 stars for convenience and friendly staff. Good place for hungry people who are just finished swimming in the sea! Nevertheless, if you have already tried Hawaii BBQ on the mainland or somewhere else, you do not expect to get something unique from this restaurant. I had lived in Northern Kali for years and often went to a local Hawaiian BBQ restaurant for lunch. It was definitely delicious, but its heavy and simple aroma still characterized it as fast food. I wondered if the Hawaiian BBQ would taste differently in Hawaii, so I came to this restaurant and found out that the food here tastes quite the same as what you can get on the mainland. In summary, the food is good, and I just want a heads-up for those who have a little higher expectations for the Hawaiian BBQ in Hawaii."

"Decided to stop by here after doing the pillbox hike and watching the sunset on the beach because we were hungry wow what a delicious reaturaunt with AMAZING food. Much more authentic and fresh food compared to Waikiki.We’ve been here almost a week and it’s definitely the best food we’ve had our whole trip and I’ve been to Honolulu twice. My boyfriend said he could eat this all day and be happy and is exicited to eat the leftovers because it’s so good and so much food on a plate and unbeatable prices. SERIOUSLY TRY THEM OUT.Sweet local family owned business that deserves all the love for their superb Hawaiian food.Got the pick 2: loco moco curry katsu plate and garlic Mahi Mahi plate. The loco moco is yummy steak with yummy gravy. The curry katsu is delicious curry flavorings the way it should be with crispy fried katsu. The garlic Mahi Mahi is fried with yummy seasoning. The macaroni salad is fresh and really is just so yummy no weird bitterness just fresh homemade flavors really the right texture amaount of sauce and onions a delight for every bite.They do takeout right now and there are tables and chairs outside but I’m happily eating in the car with my piping hot fresh meal that I am truly satisfied with. I can’t recommend them enough. "If you are in the military, I cannot emphasize how critical it is to first get your boating license sooooo worth it!!!! After you pass and receive your boating license, then you can rent boats and take the family out to the sand bar. Watch the videos, take the quiz online, pass the written test on the boat with the captain after the in person boating class, and you 're all set! Remember to take pictures of the flyers they pass around during the class, which has all the landmarks to remember while boating out to the sandbar this helped me SIGNIFICANTLY; I would 've gotten lost if I didn 't remember these specific landmarks and please be alert for the coral/shallow signs!! First, get your boat license, check for low tides, then rent the boat (I got the pontoon boat , and we were off. The staff at the Marina at MCBH are extremely friendly and helpful, and even help dock the boat for you! They have all the adult life vests on the boat already, so you only need to bring the coast guard approved kids vests that they also provide for free. Don 't forget to bring floats with ties, or chairs if you want to relax on the water. Be careful for the beautiful blue floating flower looking creatures those are poisonous jellyfish! We saw about five sea turtles just swim right by us (close enough to pet, but please dont! , and it was amazing!!!! Sea turtles are our favorite; they come up for air and eat the sea grass which is on the sandbar floor. MCBH Marina 's staff are super helpful, the facility is clean, everyone is friendly, and they always provide us with experiences that make great memories! MCBH in Kaneohe Bay is an amazing base and we love living here! Many playgrounds, many surfing beaches, secret beach, low tide north beach is great to collect glass seashells, water playground, close to many beautiful gardens and beaches. Love this area! Also, the only highway we drive to go to the south, west, or north of Oahu is absolutely gorgeous because you 're surrounded by the mountains on one bridge so surreal!"

"Got this combo for my lunch today. Steak and garlic chicken, pretty tender steak and garlicky chicken with fresh kale leaf salad. I suggest some shredded cabbage bed under chicken rather than rice. On the whole, the meal was good, but would have been better IF the severs had read the online order and paid attention when filling the order. My box indicated green salad. Oh well?"
