"I enjoy a nice beef broccoli with rice, on occasion. It was solid. No complaints price-wise or food-wise. Prices are up, but not more than expected."

"My husband and I wanted to try something new and this was just around the corner. I like that they cook right there in front of you so it's fresh. However, my husband ordered breaded chicken in a peanut sauce and the peanut sauce was...good at first but got extremely thick, like actual peanut butter, at the bottom. Not sure if that's normal, was just different for us compared to other peanut sauces we've had. I had chicken fried rice which turned out very good and I could taste the difference in it being a little fresher than other Asian restaurants. Overall good experience, minus the thick peanut sauce"

"... not by everyone as the previous mosquito of JOACHIMJOHANNES shows. But tastes are different. It's okay, it's boring. I recently discovered that the restaurant Blechhammer reopened to 01.03.22 under the name Zäb Dee. The Hotel Blechhammer is still in the same house. The operator of the hotel and restaurant is Moser GmbH, i.e. local German leadership of the entrepreneur Bernhard Moser. At the Blechhammer restaurant, we stayed two times with my best friend and family. And the 3rd visit, now in the Zäb Dee, took place again to Fifth. Our meeting was overdue and two weeks ago we caught the Zäb Dee. Saturday then the short-term decision for our yesterday's meeting. The online reservation worked excellently, the confirmation was made immediately by email. In the past, we met a house situated on the idyllic, between the Hammerweiher and the smaller rootwooggraben, from the hotel side on the rootwooggraben. Built before 1800 as a blacksmith, the property experienced a changeable life. Already in 2016, in addition to typical German/Catholic dishes, Mediterranean and Thai dishes were offered, read: [here link] , on-site parking lots are available for guests. In front of the restaurant a table already pointed to the fully booked restaurant. Good thing we had reserved! Entrance Restaurant Friendly received us a young man, checked the reservation and accompanied us to the table. This was simple and well-kept. Perfectly folded fabric napkins really did not meet our expectations and we have not experienced in an Asian restaurant yet. The restaurant was really troubled. I praise such table linen! The “fearable” Asian ambience was highlighted in the previous review. We can only find out: We have never been in an Asian restaurant with such a restrained decoration! . The pictures on the walls were partly quite unnatural, some but also Thai landscape photographs. A few decorative elements on the deep window benches. Urdeutsche Ambiente beim Thai would be inappropriate and stupid, right? At the seating nothing changed, the distances to the other tables pleasant. Our table also allowed the view through the electronic glass sliding door into the large kitchen. The work of the kitchen crew was staple and concentrated. The food / drink cards were ready at the table and we could browse. Well sorted and not overloaded. Thai pure, with no despairs. Little later, the very friendly German young serviceman was at the table to meet our drinks. Our drinks in the evening total: 2 bottles of mineral water, 0.75 l – € 6.00. 1 currant, 0.5 l € 4.40. 1 iced peach, 0.4 l € 4,00. 1 Bitter Lemon, 0.2 l € 3,00. 2 yeast wheat, 0.5 l € 4.40. 1 Riesling dry, 0.2 l – 2.90. 1 white burgundy, 0.2 l € 3,90. 1 espresso, € 2,50. 2 Latte Macchiato, € 3.20. The two wines were of course for my husband and me. The wines were, after the fine fabric napkins, the next surprise. Ordering the wines with the very attractive prices at all was due to their origin. “Only” is a wine cooperative “Vier Seasons Winzer eG”, but at least from Bad Dürkheim and worth a try. What have already been presented to us by the good Italians for a lot of money for Italian pastries the good Italian wines drink the Italians themselves! Here we were really surprised. Of course not a big location, but two good wines with a top price performance ratio. Shortly after serving the first well-cooled drinks, we ordered our dishes. Little later, freshly baked crab chips were served as a pre-abknabberei. Kroepoek The youngest at the table was especially pleased! We've known each other for over 30 years since the first day of life in 2009. I already typified that we all order the same appetizer and so it came: Poh Piah Thod – Four homemade, self-rolled spring rolls, filled with fresh vegetables. Self-made “sweet sour” Dip € 5,90. Finally homemade spring rolls! At the same time served by 3 employees and desired a good appetite. So hot served that we had to let them cool for a while. Homemade spring rolls Perfect crispy and with plentiful filling. These, however, with very little vegetables, with a lot of glass noodles. For home-made work it would have liked to be more vegetables for “perfect”. The dip made it all up. Far away from the ordinary ready-made sucrose. And fortunately not “sweetly sour” but also with proper matching sharpness. The restaurant filled with guests of all ages and it was occupied almost every table in the large guest room. Nevertheless, we could talk undisturbed, the sound level was not too loud. Our main dishes: 1 x Gäng Khieu Wan – Green Thai Curry with coconut milk, lime leaves, Thai basil, bamboo sprouts, Thai eyerins and chicken breast fillet € 13,90. Green Thai curry with coconut milk, chicken breast fillet 2 x Phad Thai – Fried rice noodles with homemade sauce, vegetables, peanuts and shrimp € 17,90. Fried rice noodles with homemade sauce, vegetables, peanuts and shrimps The dishes were very good, there were no remains. In the review I do not include them in the review, they were for our companions. My husband and I got the Gung Thod Kratiam Prik Thai – giant garlic, soy sprouts and pepper. Soy oyster sauce and fried vegetables € 18,90 served. Giant cloves with garlic, soy sprouts, roasted vegetables As I read today: Almost the identical dish we ordered in 2016 at the then hotel Blechhammer at the price of... !!! € 18,50!!! However, I must say that in 2016 the shrimps were more juicy. Yesterday they should have escaped the pan a little earlier. The vegetables broccoli, carrots, soy sprouts, onions crisp and good. The sauce discreet and slightly sweetened. It was a bit laborious to free the shrimps in the sauce from their protective coat. An empty plate for the shrimp shells was carefully placed. At the next visit, I would rather tend to the dishes that are marked as sharp. And the sticky, lumpy rice from the pre-critic? Satt and satisfied we were. The youngest one could carry another ice cup. This was ordered without cream € 4,90. As I see now, cream was charged for € 5,90. Certainly a mistake after a long day. Instead of cream there were fresh strawberries for the unannounced added value to the optically not really creamy ice cream. The well-maintained toilets are located in the basement, but are accessible via the hotel entrance via the other side of the house. After the caffeine-containing drinks had disappeared in the guest, we ordered the bill. Payment by EC. Very nice adoption. Small criticisms. These can be easily overcome. We are happy to come back! Good for the nice team!"

"Ordered food for delivery, came on time, was well packaged and hot. The vegetarian dish with the coconut milk sauce was good. The only thing I got to say about it was that the amount of sauce they put in there is absolutely rediculous. It may as well be a soup the amount of sauce that was in there. Their king prawns dish did not taste good and again TOO MUCH SAUCE. The white rice fried rice was pretty good. Bottom of my list if I had to order again."
