Instead, what they get is friendly, interested staff and eating that. expressing me, I swallow in my keyboard at the memories. rich, juicy aromas all over the menu. I have to let go of the drachenpalast when you're in the opposite. their taste buds, their lifestyle and decades from now on, the memories they look back on will thank them for going there and then back."

"Not a very nice place all in all, waiting area could do with a good clean. We ordered a meal which consisted of 1 chicken curry (no rice), which was like dishwater, tasteless and bland but plenty of squared diced chicken in, 1 bag undercooked soggy chips yuk, 1 special chow Mein, all noodles very little meat but was ok! , and 6 spare ribs dry yuk yuk yuk. they were full of grease, they were deep fried probably same chip fat cause that’s all you could taste, over cooked and just dripping with oil, managed to try it but threw it away but that’s £32 .25 that little lot cost us, . I rang to complain, owner Very was very abrupt! Didn’t listen, had to keep telling her to listen, and rude, eventually she said I will give you credit next time you come in. Say your name, . Put the phone down. After thought we decided we were NEVER going to eat there again due to the rudeness of the owner and the food so next day we took the ribs back when they opened at 5pm, Well what can I say the owner again ver short and abrupt asking what do you want, trying to be very over powering, the chef kept popping his head out of the door, hubby asked for a refund !! Well omg iWe Even took pictures to show her the mess in a bag and oil on my hands, she didn’t want to know, justhow many ribs in bag, hubby said 4 left we threw the other 2 away ! She would only refund for the 4, and only gave us £11 back from working it out in the menu should have been £12.40 they were £3.10 each Then she said she has given them to us cheaper cause we had 6 We will never be returning here again would rather cook my own Chinese,"

"Living near Haverfordwest I have become used to the mediocre food served up by the local Chinese takeaways. I cannot remember the last time that I was wowed whilst living in Pembrokeshire and have given up on the expectation of a truly satisfying meal experience however there is the odd occasion after a long day at work and finishing late that the treat of spending ones hard earned wages on mediocrity in preference to preparing ones own dinner is an acceptable trade off. Hence I decided to order from Portfield Chinese Takeaway, I visit three or four times a year which is usually reliably mediocre. I ordered one of the set meals Special Chop Suey, Egg Fried Rice, Prawn Crackers £8.80 with the addition of a Spring roll £11.00 in total. My food was not ready when I arrived so it hadn't been sat around in the kitchen waiting for me to collect, I arrived home 10 minutes later and started with the Spring Roll. To say it appeared limp and soggy is an understatement it looked to me as though it had been sat in a hot cupboard on a low heat for a few hours then microwaved for a minute or so. The content which was just bean sprouts looked as though they had been braised. that went straight in the bin. The Prawn Crackers if a little broken up were fine. 8 out 10 for that gastronomic achievement. The Special Chop Suey had only chicken in it. No evidence of a single King Prawn, slice of Char Sui Pork or Beef was luke warm and tasteless and the egg fried rice was also luke warm and a spartan austere portion. After a mouthfull this also went for the dogs dinner. If I had the energy I would have driven back into town and returned the food it was that bad however I just wanted to put my feet up for the day so settled for a cheese sandwich instead. I would have given a terrible rating but on a plus point the lady taking the orders and serving the food was friendly and cheerful hence I score poor overall. I'm not looking for an exceptional meal experience I just want a satisfying evening meal. l I can't wait for Wetherspoons to open again when I'll be able to get great value food that is always hot and satisfying for a mid week evening meal that saves cooking at home."
