"Friendly and efficient service for lunch. I had the sushi and hibachi lunches... Don't judge me The lunch includes a soup or salad. I got both. They were both pretty terrible. The salad was an iceberg mix with a creamy dressing that I was not a fan of. The soup was miso, probably the blandest I've tasted in awhile. The sushi was better than I expected. The rice for the nigiri was exceptional. I upcharged to change the Cali for salmon avocado. I had the steak and scallop hibachi. The steak was cooked to order and the scallops were nice. Mixed vegetables were okay. Rice was okay. Overall fairly average experience. The service was friendly and overall ambience was nothing special. They offer a military discount as well. I would return, but wouldn't go out of my way."

"As a military family coming from overseas to the US we were really excited to eat from a great quality yet affordable Chinese/Mongolian BBQ restaurant and after researching The Peking House seemed to fit the bill. We ordered from the Lunch Special Platter: L5 Sweet and Sour Chicken (white meat) L13 General Tso’s Chicken (white meat) L14 Pepper Steak L15 Beef w/ Broccoli L19 Shrimp w/ Cashews all totaling $34 and all paired with browned rice and an egg roll. During the COVID-19 crisis everyone is concerned about safety, at The Peking House you can rest assured your food and packaging is being treated with the upmost care. Everyone was wearing face masks and gloves making sure to follow all CDC guidelines regarding social distancing. The food itself was exceptional. When they say white meat they mean the best quality. The broccoli was cooked but crisp tender denoting its freshness as was the zucchini in the shrimp w/ cashews meal. The egg rolls were crisp and warm. Again, everything was delicious and of great quality especially for the price! I truly cannot recommend this restaurant enough and I hope everyone living in or visiting Williamsburg will try this amazing restaurant!"

"This place has ALWAYS been my favorite for special rolls which I absolutely love! I've been going here for years, due to covid this is the first time I've been in over a year. Though that is they NEVER disappoint! As always everything was on point! My favorite roll is the Tiger Roll! If you love sushi and want a warm, inviting atmosphere with the absolute one of the best sushi restaurants in Hampton Roads, you definitely should check them out!"

"The service was really good, but eating was nothing to write home. it could have been because he said they missed people. the soße was not good that it looked like straight mayo. fried reis was nothing like hibachi, they had no Hibachi cook so that they cooked in the back and brought us out."
