"If the size of the queue is any indication of how good the food is, then any Friday or Saturday night you should be prepared to wait in line. This small but excellent takeaway is a cut above your average corner shop. The accumulation of awards on the walls is also a testament to their beautiful food, and the awards and thank yous show they are supporters of local businesses, charities and schools. I don't know for sure but at a guess I'd say the owners have worked in hospitality before opening this shop as the range of foods and the flavours are excellent. The presentation is also beautiful and not your average takeaway sludge in a bain marie: clean white oval ceramic dishes keep your food warm and there is always a new dish coming out garnished and looking fit for a feast. The best would have to be the salads: my personal favourite is the chinese chicken salad with crunchy noodles- make sure you get the excellent dressing as well. The variety of salads available is excellent, and they do generous servings. The roast chicken is delicious- I'm not sure what they glaze it with but it is divine. The fried rice and satay noodles were a Friday night staple when we lived nearby and I have yet to find their equal. Their chips are always crunchy/fluffy and worth the wait for a fresh batch to be cooked up (not that they are sitting around long such is the turnover at this place). The other hot foods are very tasty and always fresh. The owners are friendly and cheery, the casual staff clearly like their jobs and the whole vibe (for a half-width block!) is neighborly. The ONLY complaint I have is that there is a tiny space for you to squeeze into to hand over your money- you almost have to turn sideways into the gap!"
