"Friday night dinner. Place is small and it fits about 20 people at the most. We came here in a whim with no reservation and luckily we were able to get a table but only had an hour to eat. definitely recommend making a reservation as I saw a couple parties get turned away. Ordered sashimi, cheese mentaiko dumplings, Goya champuru, habuya soba, and miso nasu. Sashimi was thick cuts off salmon, hamachi and tuna. All were fresh and great, tuna was a little tough. Cheese mentaiko is fried dumplings of cream cheese and mentaiko. Probably my least favorite as the mentaiko flavor was subtle still good though. Goya champuru is Goya, tofu and spam stir fried, Goya is probably and an aquired taste and is very bitter but good iykyk. Habuya soba was thick noodles in a clear broth topped with 2 thick cuts of pork. Really recommend this one. Miso Nasu another highlight of the meal, the eggplant was soft with thick tender chunks of pork. Highly recommended, probably great with some rice Overall a great meal. This place has a lot Of character."

"Wanted some Thai food after a movie and tried this place. I've tried a lot of Thai restaurants over the decades and it takes a lot to impress me because I compare everything to the flavor, quality, and authenticity of the restaurants in Thai Town, Hollywood and surrounding areas. Shrimp Pad See Ewe: for me the seasonings were bland and dry, and the noodles were not wide like I'm used to eating. It was ok but not worth compliments. My wife had the Beef Panang: The amount of beef was so disappointing and they tried to compensate by loading it up with potatoes. The curry was weak and dull compared to what I'm used to. Thai food itself can be a whirlwind of sweet, sour, spicy, and other edible experiences and I can tell you that this place is not."

"We wanted to try Zov's Bistro and found this restaurant next to it and packed of people. I smelled all the delicious food and was surprised that yelp never recommended this restaurant in Tustin. We ended up changing our mind to give it a try since I have never tried Malaysia cuisine and love trying something new. We ordered calamari, crab rangoon, and a cup of hot and sour soup as appetizers. It was the best fried calamari we ever had, super flavorful and crispy good quality calamari. It was not over breaded or double fried like a lot of fried calamari from other restaurants. Also the best fresh hot and sour soup I have ever had, the peppers the egg and the vinegar just exactly the right portion. The rangoons were basic with fake crab, but a good portion at a great price. For entrees, we ordered Beef Rendang and the seafood clay pot curry with coconut rice chiken rice. You can choose normal steam rice, brown rice, coconut rice and chicken rice. OMG, the coconut rice is like a dessert, smell delicious and it is such a great taste. Seafood clay pot is sooooooo good with fish, scallop, tofu, bunch of veggies and eggplant all in a spicy and savory broth. The beef rendang is soft, flavorful, and great quality. The curry spices used perfectly complimented the meat without overpowering it. It you want to try extremely good Malaysia food!! Definitely give this place a try."

"Please please please wear your masks properly when handling plastic food utensils! Spicy items were not spicy and extra extra spicy item had no pepper at all. This is the 2nd time our orders have been incorrect. Will have to keep looking for our go-to Chinese restaurant in Tustin."

"If you like cinnamon, you will like the sweet and sour chicken and orange chicken. Me and my family were not a fan at all. Service was nice, place as empty and portions were good for the price. Oh and the fried rice was super dry. I got all this food for $60. But will not order again. This should not smell like funnel cake and taste like a mountain of cinnamon."

"Sat at the bar. Was able to take advantage of happy hour. The food was good, clean and not loaded with extra empty calories. From happy hour menu Crab Rangoons, garlic edamame, and some sushi my sister liked. Pretty reasonable for all we had. Fried rice was just okay. Having grown up on the east coast fried rice should have flavor and no peas and carrots. This really was just a boring kind of tasteless fried rice with peas and carrots....disappointing. Ordered teriyaki chicken. Just two chicken breasts with green beans served with a side of sauce. The pictures on the menu are deceptive with what you get. It was good but totally not worth the price. Ordered a dirty martini..they have lots of vodka choices but no olives or olive juice. I made my own what I called a Japanese dirty martini. I added a splash of soy sauce to my drink. It worked out well for me but advertising a full bar....means a full bar. I don't know that I'd rush back there but it was good for the moment. Overall a decent place but PF Chang is better and cheaper."
