"For those unfamiliar, like I was, this is not a dine-in restaurant. As for the food, the Ramen was not super flavorful. Also, seemed a bit pricey. On the plus side, there were enough broth and noodles. I think back when it was Taste of Laos at the previous location I had some pretty good fried rice, but that was pre-Covid. Overall, it was OK, might try again, but I would order delivery instead of driving over and I would try something besides the ramen."

"Best Chinese Take-out In Utica. A friend got me hooked on going to this place when I was in college. It was both a pleasure and a curse, since we would end up going at least once a week for a few months. Their prices are great for the amount of food you get but it is fairly standard I have come to notice from most Chinese take-out restaurants. <br/ <br/ The General Tso 's chicken is some of the best I 've had, the Pork Fried Rice can only be beat by local hibachi houses, and the Chicken Broccoli is amazing (especially when you mix leftovers with eggs the next morning).<br/ <br/ My specialty, however, is dumplings. I tried my first steamed pork dumplings here and they are the best I 've had to date. My 'Dumpling Test ' is now the standard for me on how good any Chinese restaurant is and China Wok has yet to be beat in either the flavor of the pork filling, the taste and texture of the dumpling do, nor the taste of the chili dipping sauce. Chan 's Pekking III in Poughkeepsie came the closest and I have yet to make it to Prosperity Dumpling in NYC. But these are the best dumplings at least between Albany and Rochester and from Rome to Poughkeepsie.<br/ <br/ Cash and Credit Cards are accepted."

"Good food. Bourbon chicken is incredible. Has a sweet and sour taste with robust thick chicken pieces. The food was hot and on time as well. I think empire city cooks with very authentic ingredients and always has food very hot on arrival."
