"Great store with good customer service. Was going for a walk around my hotel when i decided to eat there, food was nice and fillings as i ordered a traditional set. I dont think they expected me to order that at 11am. Service was great as they had plenty of staff on hand, not all staff speak english but they understood enough.Was seated upstairs which was air conditioned as I had not adjusted to the heat yet, nice rooftop outdoors area. They also have wifi so make sure to ask for the password."

"Was just told about this Taiwanese veg cafe, so went to check it out. They have daily specials (Friday is fried dumplings, other days are curry), plus other options like pasta, fried rice etc. eclectic selection. Fried dumplings were really nice. Also have juice and coffee/tea selection. Good alternative to the excellent Buddhist buffets in Vt."

"First Fuji branch to be opened in Laos. Great consistency, but a bit pricey compared to other Japanese places in town (most sushi/sashimi dishes start from 60,000LAK that comes with a few bites). Be prepared to come with a thick wallet. Lunch/Dinner set and noodle dushes are better in terms of value. Fried items take longer than others to be prepared (for obviously reasons). A bit tricky to park as it's located in central area."

"This is a very local experience with the extensive seafood and other buffet catering to most. It is a self-cook (if you wish to) on the grill and the pre-loadrd soup/hotpot container on each table. The supply of seafood is huge. There is no such thing as a stingy quantity. The staff are great, and the large well ventilated space overlooking The Mekong is the perfect place to be. Highly recommended."

"Friendly staff and reasonable prices for mostly traditional Lao food. I tried the Laap Lao with beef and sticky rice plus a Gilden Lao Beer (650ml); total price was 45.000 Kip. The Laap was good, very intense in taste but not spicy at all. The size of my dish was too much for me and I eat a lot usually! So you'll really get what you pay for."
